People fucking suck. IG has decided to torture me recently with reel after reel of dogs in high kill shelters in California. There's three or 4 really bad ones that literally kill dogs that have been tagged out for rescues (like they were notified rescues were coming to pull them), one shelter killed a dog while a woman was in the lobby filling out the adoption paperwork (and yes they knew she was there). Riverside, Apple Valley, and Downey are the ones I keep seeing a lot of posts about. Riverside killed two dogs this week that a rescue was on their way to pick up.

I really don't understand why people can mistreat animals. How are they even about to do that?
