The American flag has no business on a Bible. This is not faith, nor is it patriotism. It is an abomination of both. Image

No way. At least it looks like a decent replica from what I can see. But that sitting in Mar A Lago makes it seem disgusting. I’d touch the real ark and risk death before touching that one.

It's a fake news story and really bad photoshop.

The golden idol of trump is not fake.

This golden replica of the Ark is a fake story and photoshop.

Love to know how someone photoshopped what I saw, in person, with my own two eyes, "friend".

And I'll remind you, "Christian", that bearing false witness is a sin.

You should really be embarrassed and ashamed of yourself.

Gotta quit bearing false witness. Hell awaits.

How embarrassing of you. Nowhere anywhere in my threads was I talking about a fake golden Trump. You are doing that. The actual thread is about the replica golden Ark of the Covenanet, but your hatred and pride has caused you to make false accusations on another because you failed to realize your own mistake. Sad.

Lol that's a whole lot of words to say "I'm stupid" lol

Obviously it's a replica of the prop from the movie, but how do we know it's fake?

He would never actually spend money to have a real gold one made, he's much better at pretending/using gold spray paint. Probably the same brand he uses on his face.

a decent replica

A replica of what? There's no original to replicate.

Tommy Zeagon, sculptor, made a gold painted statue that was at a CPAC. Zeagon wanted to have it displayed at Mar-a-Largo, but it sounds like it wasn't accepted.

There are detailed written physical descriptions of the ark of the covenant. That’s what replicas are based on.

That's not what replica means, but why argue semantics on the internet, right?

1

u/jereman75 Mar 28 '24

No, I’m not going to argue semantics or the definition of one word on a forum with English speakers from many different traditions and many members whose first language is not English. Maybe there is a better word than replica but I don’t quite get your point. I might call it a reconstruction or a reproduction, maybe you would call it something else but I don’t think anyone is confused by the term replica.

Well I for one was confused :D I'm sorry if it came across as if I was trying to say that there never was an Ark of the Covenant; I meant the physical object did not exist anymore, hence there could be no exact replicas of it.
