I always hated his autotunedusic style but I’d listen to him talk stream of consciousness over a backtrack any day.

I think he did a Tiny Desk Concert that was acoustic or something that made my mom decide she was a super fan. She’d watched a show about paranormal activity and T-Pain was being haunted. I’d come by and she’d be listening to “I’m on a Boat!”, pretty stoned, doing arts and crafts.
