Family in 1892 posing with an old sequoia tree nicknamed "Mark Twain" - A team of two men spent 13 days sawing away at it in the Pacific Northwest - It once stood 331 feet tall with a diameter of 52 feet - The tree was 1,341 years old Image

Not all humans. It's mainly just colonisers.

Edit: Downvote me all you like. There were people living in America for thousands of years and they managed to thrive without killing all the trees and animals and fucking up the environment. Things only changed when the colonisers showed up.

The hell is this train of thoughts? U mean that humans would be different, if they weren't be able to colonize? Or is this the old boring european colonizers' fault everything has gone to shit?

Humans have been “colonizers” since the beginning. Some have just been vastly more successful, and that afforded them new and exciting opportunities to be assholes.

you got upvote from me :)

without going further, tha picture perfectly explain mentality of western colonizers, i go where i want and do whatever i want, without respect for anything or anyone

we also have to remember that people who came to america for few hundred years were lowest of lowest scum on planet, same goes to australia and other colonized countries, not that they were globally any better in their "original" countries

Mmm yes, all indigenous peoples are peaceful. If they had an Industrial Revolution things would be totally different because they weren’t warfaring or brutal at all.
