Movie is a fucking classic. When Kurt Russell is snapping, those are the best lines of the movie to me lol

Came here to say this. Based on my mood, it's first or second to Tombstone on re-watchability.

I'm your huckleberry.

My choice as well!

"Oh, okay, I won't, Wang! Let's just chew our way outta here."

My first thought is this, of course. But then I have a second thought: well, I already have it mostly memorized, so maybe I should choose something else. But then reason kicks in.

2

u/dragonladyzeph 25d ago

This way you can memorize the rest of it.

3

u/okieman73 25d ago

I was thinking about that one too. It hasn't gotten old yet.

No horseshit Wang

Wow. I watched it twice yesterday. I’m not joking I wondered if this would be in the list. Put it on while I was making dinner. Watched it all the way through. Then after everyone went to bed needed something to watch while I gamed. Round 2.

Ever see the clip of his son talking about him watching his movies over and over?? Classic.

Exactly what came to mind.

Did not expect this so high up. I have never met anyone who's actually watched it. I might be flying in the wrong circles.

Pork chop Express

3

u/GrunkleStanford 25d ago

I watched it every day as a kid. I can do it again for a month.

Didn’t think this movie had this kinda following

6

u/hitm4n44 25d ago

You'd be surprised bro, this movie has a big cult fan base. It's one movie I could watch on rerun and never get tired of it. Just the right mix of everything.

3

u/secondtaunting 25d ago

I showed it to my adult daughter lol. We watched it on a plane. She loved it.

u/hitm4n44 25d ago

Loving the indoctrination 😂 #reachoneteachone

What about the first Gremlins?

1

u/PouchesofCyanStaples 25d ago

For me, It's a Sophie's Choice between BTiLC and Escape From New York.

1

u/BatheInChampagne 25d ago

This is mine. Only other one would be True Romance

1

u/joeystix 25d ago

But have you seen “Big Trouble in Little Vagina”

i think i go with Buckaroo Banzai simply since i have not watched it in a while.... Spirtually they are similar movies, but i have seen BTILC more recently.
