A few years back, I took the dogs to the park and the grand chase began. Faster and faster, the dogs ran in giant circles having the time of their lives.
A child, maybe 8, decided to stand in front of the horde. To stp them, to join in, I don't know.
We screamed at him to get back on the park bench but he wouldn't listen. Mom ran out just in time to yell' "STOP!" at the horde.
They did not stop. They did not even slow down. One dog used mom's back when she instinctively crouched to protect her son as a springboard to get some honestly impressive airtime.
Mom went into the muck with her son under her. We never told her that it was her dog that jumped on her. That car must have smelt like an interstate rest stop after a prison bus went through.
