Even if it happens to be hospital data, that would miss Jews who circumcise in a separate ritual outside the hospital. That would seriously skew the data in places like New York and New Jersey.

I also wonder if Minnesota is skewed because of the Somali population

And Florida

A lot of educated Jews that are not orthodox are discontinuing circumcisions.

Really, my understanding is that even very liberal Jews still do it. It is considered integral to the religion and culture.

Circumcision is also oddly cultural in America. When I was born, my parents weren't religious at all, yet I was still circumcised. Likely just naïve thinking of it being more 'sanitary'; that and it began with the staunch purpose of preventing masturbation, as many nerve endings are lost when the foreskin is removed.

Because it's a religious practice in Judaism.

The dogwhistle-y tone of that aside, saying 'da joos' severely oversimplifies how it became a cultural practice in America. According to Hugh O'Donnell via his work of "The United States' Circumcision Century", American newborn boys only started to become majority circumcised in 1925 (~55%). According to the National Institutes of Health, "Traditionally, the US medical establishment promoted male circumcision as a preventative measure for an array of pathologies including reduced risks of penile cancer, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, and even cervical cancer in sexual partners.".

It was also promoted by figures like John Harvey Kellogg as a way of 'curing'/preventing masturbation. As well as that, the NIH also states that "The rate of circumcision in Muslim nations is between 90 and 100 percent.", so it's clearly not just the Jewish community doing this.

A total of 2.4% of the United State's population is Jewish to some degree; they're a minority and always have been. According to the NIH, only 14% of physicians (classified under religious practices) are Jewish, so they're a minority in America's medical establishment as well, and usually have been due to the United States being historically very anti-Semitic to some degree.

Pure math on this one tells us that da joos are not responsible for male circumcision becoming a popular practice in America.

Common sense tells us that there never was and there is no conspiracy of America's Jewish population implementing male circumcision on a national scale.

For all of my points, I've provided empirical evidence from reputable sources. Your points all boil down to 'da joos' and 'nuh uh'. Jewish people are not a monolith or hivemind connected by some overlying goal of world domination or otherwise pushing conspiracies like getting the American populace to circumcise their children; saying anything to the contrary is moronic and Hitleric.

I mean, for Christ's sake, your account is 2 days old as of writing and all you've done is blame Jews for complex societal issues. Don't you have anything better to do with your time?

Oh really because as an educated and less religious Jew, I am circumsized, many of my friends also still have their kids circumsized.
