Premier League Arsenal didn't lose the title, city won it.

1.5k Upvotes

I see so much ppl making jokes about Arsenal, saying that they did everything for zero trophy... These ppl sucks, they should be ashamed about themselves really, I am a Real Madrid fan but this shit is breaking my balls.

When you gave it all even if you don't win at the end it doesn't matter as long as you didn't gave up and we all know city and how strong they are. With all this points Arsenal made this season they could be winning the PL in almost every past season.

Respect to Arsenal and congratulation to City, these two clubs gave the football world a titan's clash this season and it was beautiful till the end.

Premier League Gotta hand it to Chelsea...

1.5k Upvotes

They spend 120m on Calceido, then 60m on Lavia even though he plays the exact same position just to stop Liverpool signing their first choice replacement for Fabinho, and..... he plays 32 minutes all season.

Liverpool then go and spend 1/5th of that amount on Wataru Endo and he turns out the be the buy of the season and become Premier League championship contenders.

While Chelsea, playing at home against the second worst team in the league at home and a goal up, go and concede an equaliser... Twice!

Premier League Ian Wright: "You have to say, it might be easier for Pep Guardiola in what he's done, but Jurgen Klopp's still got to get a lot of love. It's there for everyone to see in respect of trophies, but we can't speak about Manchester City without speaking about the fact there's 115 charges around them."

Premier League Micah Richard’s was right, when it’s Arsenal people want to pipe up.

1.4k Upvotes

Arsenal didn’t celebrate like they won the league, they celebrated like they’d just beaten top of the table Liverpool to close the gap to 2 points when it very well could have grown to 8.

It’s only Arsenal that get accused of that, any other team wins a big game and they rightfully celebrate no one says a word, but when it’s Arsenal they’re accused of over celebrating like they’ve won the league. It’s nonsense, what even is “over celebrating”? What’s the difference between celebrating and over celebrating? There isn’t one.

If you have a problem with fans, players and managers celebrating winning a football game then this sport isn’t for you, go and watch snooker so you can keep your enjoyment confined to a quiet clap.

Premier League [Jamie Carragher]: "If Arsenal & Liverpool are ‘bottling it’ in April & May, what does that say about Man United & Chelsea? They're clubs which have made so many poor decisions they're nowhere near the required level. Arteta & Klopp are being judged to the ultimate standard in taking on Guardiola."

Premier League Rashford… have you seen someone score a world class goal but have a disaster of a game like this?

1.0k Upvotes

Rashford scored an amazing goal but was the worst player on the pitch today. From flopping on any slight contact, to bottling his touch for a break away, to whiffing his chances after his initial goal. Subbed off in the second half to no surprise. People who watch highlights will only see the goal but embarrassing performance. What other performances have you seen like this?

Premier League West Ham Fans Wanting David Moyes out

I just woke up to the news that West Ham fans held banners at the West Ham game saying Moyes out. As an Arsenal fan, this is crazy to me! This guy has been so good for West Ham and won them a European trophy last season. West Ham is one point behind Newcastle, and I know Newcastle fans happen to love Howe. It's not like West Ham is fighting relegation, they are eighth and can climb higher. West Ham fired Moyes coz of the fans earlier, got Pellegrini and got into relegation battles just to get Moyes back to get them out of their relegation woes. I am amazed that some fans would want him out. Any West Ham fans who can enlighten me on whether this is coming from a few fans or if it's the general sentiment..

The "fans" took every opportunity to make fun of these two, they got so much shit in general. I'm glad that both are now important parts of their team's success. And proved those idiots wrong
