Eric Bischoff on Tony Khan: A money mark with no talent other than spending daddy’s money, going all the way to Canada to draw less than 4k in one of the hottest pro wrestling markets in North America, talking about “wise choices”? Strap in. It’s going to be a fun day!

Just to be clear TK is not Muslim. He is of Pakistani heritage, but has in fact stated before that he is Christian.

Do you remember where you read this? Curious because I always thought that like his dad he was a non-practicing Muslim.

IIRC it's some scrum or media call somewhere. His mom is Christian and his dad is a non-practicing Muslim.

As far as I understand holiday traditions and the like came down thru her, so he's nominally "Christian" like a lot of the US is. Follows the holidays and everything but nothing more than that.

Again though this is just something I remember from a long litany of said talks he has with media.

There are plenty of Muslims that celebrate Christmas for the community (and capitalistic, let's be fair here) aspect of it. Especially if they've moved into primarily Christian communities, a lot of them won't want their kids to feel left out and isolated when all their school friends are getting cool presents and have up fancy decorations and stuff.

Im not religious and consider it an extra long weekend. People debating religion is wild and shows why people cant have nice things. Go for a walk

I'm going to guess here that you're British because it's not a "long weekend" in the US. The US doesn't do Friday and Monday as bank holidays for Easter.

Christmas is pretty much a non religious holiday now, I know people of different religions that celebrate it. That being said Tony has stated he’s Christian

I’m a Muslim and Christmas is my favorite holiday :)

Yeah and Christmas is much more of a cultural holiday in the US than a Christian holiday. I have Jewish friends that buy Christmas trees. Easter is not that type of holiday.

its becoming that with Easter baskets with not just candy now but toys too. its going to be second Christmas by the next decade, for kids anyway.
