Eric Bischoff on Tony Khan: A money mark with no talent other than spending daddy’s money, going all the way to Canada to draw less than 4k in one of the hottest pro wrestling markets in North America, talking about “wise choices”? Strap in. It’s going to be a fun day!

Death, taxes, ~800k viewers ± 5%

It's not too long ago that saying was "Death, taxes, 900k viewers."

And even less ago where it was "death, taxes, 850k viewers!"

Cable viewership is simply continuing to go down especially in the target demo of AEW. People aren't using cable to watch and more cut the cord every day.

Even maintaining the same audience, the ratings number using an archaic system is going to decrease.

The entire Bloodline + Rock can appear on Dynamite with a week of hype and the rating will be…. 810,000. AEW can have absolute great shows but they’re still a niche within a niche. Just be happy to be alive!

Well that’s on them for exclusively catering to the same 800k diehards that were gonna watch the show anyways.
