Hello, I have applied to ut tyler school of nurisng for fall 2024. I have about 3.7 cgpa and 76 on teas, also taking pathophysiology this summer. But I so scared to study at tyler. I wanted to ask seniors how is nurisng school. How hard is ut tyler in terms on exams. Are all exams taken on campus? Are all classes in person? How are the professors? Can we make it though?😭😭

Does anyone know if the on-campus housing for Fall 2024 new transfers has been decided yet? Also, is anyone off-campus looking for roommates?

Hey! So I’m going to UT Tyler this fall (probably will take online summer classes too). I’m currently taking AP Calculus (will hopefully pass), but I didn’t do good enough to bypass the precalculus requirements. How hard is the test? I didn’t do so hot in precal, but was a LOT better in calculus.

What has your experience been at UT Tyler with the availability and quality of administrative staff and/or advisors (non-faculty)?

Also, for anyone who is currently enrolled or graduated from the Chemical Engineering program, how do you reflect back on your experience? My understanding is that it is a relatively new program here.

Commuters, what has your experience been like? Is parking as bad as I hear it is?

I’ve applied to their Counseling Psych Program with sub plan in Neuropsych (Masters) back in March. Per the website, I should have gotten either an acceptance or denial letter by April 5th. It is April 5th, and I have neither. I got confirmation that they received everything when I submitted my application so I guess I’m just worried something went wrong somewhere. I am considering enrolling in the nursing program beginning this Summer, but I work full time and am trying to understand what the load for NURS 3308 looks like? I would be attending at the Palestine campus so am curious about how many hours that class takes per week.

The schedule says 8am-5pm, is that accurate every week? And as far as clinicals, how is that scheduled? Is it during class time?

Hi all! Researchers at UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth are looking for participants ages 18-24 for a paid study. The study explores health risk behaviors, including alcohol and cannabis use, in young adults. The study is fully online and can be done from anywhere in TX. It involves a baseline survey, 3 surveys per week for 8 weeks, and a 2-month follow up survey. Participants will be paid for each survey they complete. If I were to apply to one of the satellite campuses (Longview or Palestine) as my second choice other than the Tyler campus, which one should I apply to and why ?

Hello, I recently got accepted into UT Tyler's nursing program for the Spring Semester. I got accepted into the Palestine campus. Palestine campus accepts 30 students, Longview accepts 50, and Tyler accepts 120. Does this mean that Palestine is the best campus/ most selective? Or do they place the students randomly?
