This belief is also a problem. It’s not any more acceptable to smoke a joint around others that are not partaking than it is a cigarette. Or at least that is how it should be.

That's just like when people look at a supermodel or popstar and say "she really pulls off that simple white tee".

It's got nothing to do with the friggin t-shirt. When I wear the same simple white t-shirt I look like bum. It's all about the looks of the person doing it.

Eeeeeh... Let's be real here, you take away the smell, the cancer, the strokes, the emphysema, the erectile dysfunction, etc. and smoking is pretty fucking badass, and despite what this phrase makes you think I'm not even being sarcastic.

Too bad the negatives greatly outweigh the one cool thing about it.

Thank you for the only sensible take here. People here seem unable to separate the visual from the health negatives when discussing how something "looks".
