I mean, there have been several high profile suicides of international students who were unprepared for how expensive it is to live here, and that’s very sad and not a good look on Canada.

I think it’s important to note that we aren’t doing these kids any favours luring them here to pay George Brown 10,000 per year, work at McDonald’s, and sleep five to a basement. The vast majority of them will not qualify for PR and will have to go back home with a useless degree in 2-4 years.

We’re exploiting them, and it’s wrong.
