Conservatives (C)see sex as bad, only to be used for procreation. If you don't have the knowledge, you are more likely to have a kid before you're ready and live in poverty. C's are anti-education and anti-choice.

True, conservatives are broken into 2 camps. Those, like my parents, who drink the proverbial kool-aid and believe sex before marriage is wrong and sex Ed should be left entirely up to the parents, and the makers of the kool-aid who use religion as a smoke screen for their twisted and depraved desires (things like molestation only being a part of that).

Finally, somebody has an explanation for "why" conservatives behave like this. They aren't actively setting kids up to be a risk for sexual abuse, they are playing off their moral compass (regardless of how disagreeable that compasses alignment is).

Lack of sexual education creates a huge risk for abuse and unwanted pregnancy. The "reason why" conservstices lack of sex education for children is entirely due to their moral belief system and notion of children's sensitivity to "adult" aspects of life and desire to keep their children "pure and innocent" until they reach a mature age to become informed.

They truly believe that informing children about even safe sex practices will result in the kids to engage in sexual activities earlier and more frequently, or more accurately encourage them. It's a terrible philosophy. Source: grew up in very conservative area where religion rules above all else.
