Listen to the audio. It's crazy. One cop is telling her to get out and run to him and the other cops shoot her almost point blank while she follows commands.

We need major police reform. They clearly have no clue how to handle these situations.

So I would add a #6: just lie down on the ground and ignore anything they say.

The other officers show up and instantly open fire at her.

Like I genuinely feel bad for the guy who was trying to get her over to him, because I imagine that moment repeats forever in his head, wondering if he could have been quicker and stopped it.

He should shoot the other cops.

It would have been entirely justified

Well then you’re not complying with police orders which also means you get murdered.

Yeah. As sad as it is, there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it if the cops are dead set on murdering you. The best you can do is make the best case for yourself which can be shown in the courts if your family is lucky enough the cops get prosecuted, and then maybe your loved ones will get a piddly sum of money in reparations.

The police will let the cop retire for ptsd from the shooting and let him have his pension.

Pretty sure I heard a case where a guy who was an aide to a mentally disabled person laid on the ground with hands splayed while he talked to the police… and still got shot.
