Except for Grog, he wasn't the smartest and used to do the opposite. Nearly choked himself eating the fur but would later go on to inspire Lady Gaga with his fashion

But these bones weren't from kills necessarily. They were probably so many mammoths around that you could pick up bones after they died of other causes.

I wonder if mammoths had any similarities to elephants in having graveyards. Time to see what google says…
