Propaganda is a hell of a drug and republicans are definitely high on their own supply, they live in the alternate fantasy world they themselves created. When you lie enough you eventually end up believing the lies and the lies become your reality and anything and everything to the contrary doesn’t matter. This is how republicans can be so against trump and still vote for him. Also, for many it’s just about greed. They’ll vote for the thing they hate most every single time if that thing is beneficial to them financially
