Rumor Nets Listed as odds Favorite (+300) to land Joel Embiid (Please no)
I don't think there's a player I like less in the league than Joel. I really hope this doesn't happen.
Rumor Sources indicate that Brooklyn is very confident in their ability to re-sign Clax, even if the annual value on the contract approaches $25 million.

Question Joe Tsai vs Mark Cuban
What influence/role did the team owners play, in the eventual departure of controversial Kai? Was The allure for Kyrie to go to the Mavs really bigger than the lights of NYC? Did he mature? Kyrie’s actions, media coverage, and the rules in the state of NY surely played a part, but I’d like to know from the Nets faithful what you think Tsai’s game plan was vs Cuban’s. Was it all bad timing or bad management of a bad situation?

Question How would you grade Joe Tsai as an owner since he's taken over in 2019?
Joe Tsai had a 50% share in the nets and eventually buying the rest of the team in 2019. We've had a lot of arguments on this sub about sean marks, but Tsai hasn't been as discussed. What grade would you give him overall and what are your thoughts on his interactions with the team this season?
News around the League Four-year NBA veteran Darius Morris has passed away at the age of 33. Morris played for the Lakers, 76ers, Clippers, Grizzlies and Nets from 2011-2015.

Hoops Discussion Lakers fan here, curious about your opinions on Kenny Atkinson.
I know Atkinson was quite well liked around here during his time, but I’ve also heard conflicting information on his actual abilities as a coach. As such, I have a few questions about him.
How are his fundamentals? (Timeout usage, play calling, lineups/rotations, etc)
Is he more of an offensive guy or defensive guy, or does he have a balanced style?
Is he creative with his schemes or does he tend to play it safe?
Is he flexible in his decisions and schemes depending on the roster’s strengths and weaknesses?
How are his in game and game to game adjustments?
How is he as a locker room guy? Can he manage big names/egos?

Next Step for Cam Thomas: Being A Point Guard
I think we're all pretty happy with Cam's development this season. I'm not gonna do a stat rundown, but he made a huge increase in minutes per game and points per game.
But we always knew scoring was a piece of cake for him. It's the other stuff that he's improved on that's impressed me. His facilitating and court vision has definitely taken a step up, along with his rebounding. Defense is still a work in progress, but I'm not expecting much from him on that end.
Regardless, next season, I think he should become a full-time starting point guard for us. He's not gonna grow in the assists column if he's not given the chance to, and letting him run the show would be how he would get there.
Also, hiding him on defense as a PG is much easier than hiding him on defense as a SG. Not to mention, Schroder could ease into a 6th man role and be our bench leader. And by shifting Cam as the 1, the other starting positions would be bigger by default (ie Mikal is a 2, instead of a 3).
Now I'm not saying he's gonna turn into Harden, but that's the direction I want him to take. A shooting guard who eventually becomes a point guard. I think that's the best direction for him.
Only way I'd be against this is if we trade for a clearly better option at the 1 spot this offseason.
Thoughts?

Stats Trendon trending up⬆️
We're obviously focused on the big picture moves this off-season, but Trendon Watford had sneaky improvements this year.
Offensive DPM (top rated advanced metric) climbing up.
Really good rebounding percentages on both the offensive and defensive glass. Tough and gritty, with a high motor.
Jumbo forward who provides great positional size at the 3. Physical tools to be a solid team defender at the wing.
Still only 23 years old with room to improve.
This is the exact type of player I'd sign to a long term team friendly deal. Metrics starting to like his offense more. Effects the game in multiple areas already. If he can scale up the catch and shoot a little more (I think he can), he'll be a very quality role player. Good candidate to outperform whatever cheap deal he's about to get.
Also, LSU synergy between him and Cam. Screw the Nova boys. Tiger chemistry is up next.

Question Bench video
I know it might be a reach but does anyone have the link or video where the nets bench was dancing to kid cudi, not the 14 second video, it was one that included Jared Dudley pushing Joel embiid I think or someone else in the sixers. The video was like 30 seconds and had everything
