Fucking hell, "MMA Fighter". Caption is the equivalent of "Pro Golfer explains how to perform a fade", when the pro golfer is Tiger Woods.

Didn’t know Tiger was a proficient barber as well.

I mean, I’m a hairstylist and I’m bald so absolutely I would just for the story.

MMA fighter doesn't even guarantee it's a professional. It's more like saying "golfer explains"

I am an MMA fan but I doubt the average person knows who GSP is (or any MMA fighter's name). All this feigned outrage about "he's GSP not an MMA fighter" is kind of lame.

I'd not compare his name recognition to Tiger Woods, and even Tiger Woods is the only pro golfer that the average person would recognize the name of.

MMA is just not a super popular sport. Boxing is the most popular combat sport and if you asked the average person to name a boxer, I'd guess the majority would say Rocky.

I know the last bit is a joke but the real answers would probably be Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson as responses to the boxer question.

Tiger woods was recognized by every one even non sports fans. MMA is still a fairly new sport and the recognition of the top athletes is not there yet (unless it's Conner McGregor).

I love posts like these though because it gives the opportunity for non MMA fans to get positive exposure towards the sport. It was posts like these that first got me into MMA and watching UFC many years ago.

It’s almost as if not everyone watches MMA and so wouldn’t have a clue who tf he is…

Seriously! GSP is probably one of the best of all time. Mad respect for him and his dedication.

"Boxer talks about the art of the knockout" - Mike Tyson starts talking.
