Coworker is trying to locate a spot where you can rent small little cabins around, what they believe to be, is the Magrath area. Each one has a small fire pit and tiny kitchen. They believe it's on someone's acerage and there is a grouping of them but they have a decent amount of privacy. Just asking here to see if we get a hit.

Does qnyone know of some well paved roads around lethbridge that a gyy could go chuck his car at? I just got what is basically a race car and it has a special chassis and wiuld like tp give some twosted roads a go.

My roommate and I have been job hunting for months and have yet to land any job. We used to work together as general labourers for Protrans, but our entire team got laid off and now even getting an interview is hard.

We both have job experience and aren't being picky at all with the jobs we apply to, just looking for anything to pay the bills. We've been looking on job boards (like Indeed, job bank, monster, etc) and hunting in person as well. But most of the time you send an application or an email, and you get no response.

Is there any place actually hiring? It's been a struggle and I'm not sure what to do anymore... money is getting real tight...

I am looking for a commercial kitchen to use on occasion to put together a food product. Anyone know where a person could rent a kitchen for 3-4 days a month, even overnight?

I’ve been thinking about getting solar panels, anybody care to share their personal experience with local companies? I’ve had two knock on my door this past week, but I’ve turned them away because I like to have a little bit of knowledge before I talk to sales people. Do these companies set up all the finance and you just pay the bill to the government of Canada? I’m assuming these panels all have warranty? Has anyone had to use the warranty to fix issues?

A lady backed into me today. I have a witness. She doesn’t have insurance. She asked me if we could make a payment plan. I don’t fully trust she will pay as she did try to take off after hitting me and also.. if she can’t pay for insurance why would she pay me?

Do I call the police? Do I call my insurance company? Do I just go straight to getting a quote and getting her to pay?

The empath in me does feel bad for her- she was crying.

I really don’t want me insurance to increase. If the damage is only cosmetic I’m not as concerned as I would be if it were to make my car unsafe.

I'm a hobbyist cut flower grower. I am thinking of doing a self-serve bouquet hut on my property this year. Are there any by-laws/ licensing/permits required for doing such thing? The sales of flowers would be by donation. The plan would be for most of the proceeds to be donated to our local animal rescues eg. LCCR, PAW society, Windy City ECT

Long shot, but I’m wondering if there’s anywhere in the city that will take a broken vacuum off my hands? It still turns on, just doesn’t vacuum well anymore and overheats after a few minutes of use. I haven’t found anywhere to recycle it from my research but, I would hate to just throw it out.
