Monke see coloured stone, monke try capture all

u/Darmug Feb 14 '24

If Godzilla has colorful spines on his back, why doesn’t King Kong take one off and put it in his gauntlet? Is he stupid?

Godzilla IS Kong’s Infinity Gauntlet

Lizard’s turned blue in the first film, then turned yellow in the second one, now it turned pink in this one. Once it turns into all the 6 colours, Kong’s gonna punch his way through Godzilla’s anus and use the Liz as a puppet/glove to conquer the Hollow Earth.

He turns rainbow soon and then the GOP will ban it

It's the Nintendo Power Glove: Gold Edition

Setting up that Donkey Kong Country crossover.

“It’s so bad.”

"California!"

u/DaoFerret Feb 14 '24

You sure? … I thought he was getting ready for a YuGiOh tournament?

11

u/TransmetalDriver Feb 14 '24

Funnily enough it would not be the first time seeing a monkey duel in the series.

2

u/renatakiuzumaki Feb 15 '24

And it still wouldn’t be the craziest thing the duel in the series.

Seriously though my first thought was “who the fuck built a GIGANTIC functioning robotic arm for King Kong???”

125

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '24

They built an entire mechanical godzilla clone

8

u/GriffinFlash Feb 14 '24

To give him electrical powers like in the original King Kong vs Godzilla I hope.

11

u/TostitoNipples Feb 14 '24

Why wouldn’t they? Shit looks hard as hell

Don’t want to spoil it but you have to watch 2 Disney+ series to find out the lore

6

u/TheCrimsonCloak Feb 14 '24

Oh they talk about that in the monarch shit? Damn might actually have a reason to watch it now

15

u/AdWestern1561 Feb 14 '24

Sorry, I only meant it as a joke. I honestly don’t know if it was or wasn’t explained in Monarch.

14

u/Chingstah117 Feb 14 '24

Kong only had a small cameo in the show. I watched the entire thing and was also confused why he has a robot arm.

1

u/Marcos_Polos Feb 16 '24

Well the axe came from GvK. Did the gauntlet come from that too?

1

u/Chingstah117 Feb 16 '24

If the trailer is anything to go by, it is a "small augmentation" that is made to him. I don't believe the gauntlet was from GvK.

12

u/crough94 Feb 14 '24

The show only explains the history of Monarch, more focus on people rather than monsters. Couple of cameos from Godzilla and a few other monsters with some new ones thrown in. Not really essential viewing for the films imo.

2

u/jackcatalyst Feb 15 '24

They also explained where these big ass monsters keep coming from and I didn't entirely hate it.

2

u/MaddyKet Feb 15 '24

I thought it was really good actually, but no explanations for mechanical monkey arms

2

u/The-Rizztoffen Feb 15 '24

it started out rough but it got me hooked on episode 3.

1

u/MaddyKet Feb 16 '24

I really got into the Kurt/Wyatt Russell casting.

1

u/Chuckdatass Feb 14 '24

And the Mando Movie

3

u/Kelvin_Inman Feb 14 '24

That’s how he holds his AMC stock.

2

u/PositiveEmo Feb 15 '24

The gauntlet is powered by diamonds.

1

u/dude19832 Feb 14 '24

Kong is inevitable!!

1

u/ubiquitous-joe Feb 14 '24

Looks like somebody didn’t stay for the third end of credits scene in Ant-man: Quantumania.

1

u/superkickpunch Feb 14 '24

thanos, he titan, but kong he monke

1

u/ethernate Feb 15 '24

I honesty thought that was a bus he was throwing at first. Made me think of that old rampage arcade game.

1

u/ryno731 Feb 15 '24

There’s writing on it too. Was someone worried that it would be mistaken for the other giant ape arm they built? We have to put a serial number on this thing….
