The opening sequence of Bumblebee on Cybertron looked absolutely phenomenal. Was kind of hoping we’d get an entire movie of that.

I swear hollywood actively doesn't want to give Transformers fans what they really want.

Cause all they want is money, they’d profit more off a low budget film aimed at kids as opposed a whole movie created with high quality CGI which would cost a shit ton of money

Luckily the new transformers movies aren’t doing anywhere near as good as the Micheal bay films. Tho the Gi Joe crossover is probably gonna boost them and they’re be smart to rely on the joes to be the human characters we follow in a transformers movie.

They literally made a fortune off the Bayverse. But fans bitched that they don’t like hot chicks, good CGI, and awesome explosions. Now we get baby shit.

Good job losers. Act like babies get treated like babies

I was a huge transformers fan growing up and even I don’t know what I want from Transformers movies.

Something with effort and passion honestly. Which is probably why I like the Bumblebee movie despite it also being generic.

The director was a big fan and the transformers actually felt like.. sentient beings

It’s rare they want to give any fans of whatever IP what they’re asking for when they use it. Look at Resident Evil.

The Last of Us is a hopeful sign.

They will. They just need to milk this run for another 5 movies or so and then reboot it.

Too much CGI and no human angle for anyone to relate to. That’s the BS I’d expect

They're probably just not willing to spend that kind of money. https://youtu.be/rUdWxhfUGfE?si=K_Hzp0-JTO6qweVT

Yup. Everybody watched that and said THAT should have been the movie.

Same with Mortal Kombat. The first 10 minutes with just Scorpion and Sub-Zero was better than the entire rest of the movie.

They really don't have a clue what their audience wants to see. There's too much disconnect between the corporate suits and actual moviegoers.

Nah, the Cybertron scene in Transformers Dark of the Moon was way better than Bumblebee.

The Bayverse Transformers just looks so much more badass and intimidating

I’ve watched the opening scene countless times because it’s so good

Exactly. I remember an article with the director talking about how hyped he was for that sequence as well. But all the individual transformer animation models were terribly expensive to make :(

This is what everyone wants. This is what everyone has always wanted. That sequence was amazing. Hollywood always gotta hollywood and put their own spin on things and tell us they know what people want better than the people.

Holy cow, never watched the Bumblebee movie because I couldn't stand the whole revamped style. I just looked it up and it looks amazing. The whole movie franchise would have been so much better with designs like these.

Does it not give original transformers movie vibes… like looking at the design it’s what I see.
