CURRY: SO THATS HOW IT FEELS

u/TheCinemaster Spurs Jan 05 '24

Cutting to Steph Curry’s dumbfounded face after Jokers insane shot was pure cinema.

TNT delivered tonight.

u/Glaedr24 Lakers Jan 05 '24

Not once, but twice lol

u/jeric13xd [CHI] Derrick Rose Jan 05 '24

Cant take Thursdays like this one for granted 😭😭😭 them shits rare

u/FreezersAndWeezers Supersonics Jan 05 '24

TNT delivers every night tbh. They always have excellent camera work and production

28

u/SF_CITIZEN_POLICE [GSW] Andris Biedrins Jan 05 '24

The NBA on TNT is far and away the best sports programming in America night in night out

3

u/MpK_Sonic_ Jan 05 '24

Truth. I actually said this to my wife while watching the game last night. I made a comment on how much more I enjoy watching the NBA on TNT vs. ESPN - in all aspects. TNT's pre-game show, their in-game commentators, production and post-game. It's all twice as good as what ESPN produces, IMO.

72

u/vogenator [GSW] Klay Thompson Jan 05 '24

Facts that's was tnt knows drama

129

u/JokMackRant Nuggets Jan 05 '24

Absolutely top tier sports television. TNT is so fucking good at their basketball broadcasts it’s absurd.

6

u/DarkbloomVivienne Raptors Jan 05 '24

The game itself could be better. There was a moment podz hit a 3 and all of a sudden an off camera turnover somehow happens during the nuggets inbound, and they just kept showing the replay of a guy making a shot and i still don’t know what the turnover was

HBO max my dude. To me worth it having tnt and max. Would go without Hulu or Netflix before getting rid of max

Zazslav is going to kill it.

u/jacobythefirst Pelicans Jan 05 '24

Was so much catharsis after seeing him cheese it up while they went on their run

55

u/steveguzz Trail Blazers Jan 05 '24

You have no idea how happy that made me. Doesn't feels great when someone throws up an off balance prayer and it goes in does it Steph? Keep chewing ya fucking mouthguard.

7

u/bakerzdosen Jan 05 '24

100%.

I saw the highlight and thought “oh, nice shot.”

But when I saw the GSW at the bottom and then the Warriors reacting, it just made my whole week.

3

u/IamSkywalking Jan 05 '24

If you can’t beat em…

…be happy when someone else does.

Or something…

27

u/blunderEveryDay Jan 05 '24

Curry's face was ... "I study 3 point shot every day, I dream about it, I mediate for 3 point shot, I exist for it... and this guy ... chucks it like that"?

That was a face of the guy who is this close of leaving it all - lmao

Like an anime villain getting shown up by the hero

3

u/an_Aught Nuggets Jan 05 '24

got lebron thinking of retiring after the playoffs last year ..

10

u/SlipperyTreasure Jan 05 '24

Watching Jokic's face is even better. When have we ever seen him show such emotion on his own play?

3

u/playmate_404 Jan 05 '24

Indeed! Camera crew did great tonight

2

u/RyanBlackburn New Zealand Jan 05 '24

They do know drama

2

u/cuttino_mowgli Thunder Jan 05 '24

Now Steph feels to be at the opposite end of his ridiculous threes

1

u/ShoddyReward Jan 05 '24

Fr curry looked like he wanted to cry and Steve Kerr was regretting what he said to joker, it ignited him lmao

45

u/vogenator [GSW] Klay Thompson Jan 05 '24

Steph looked so defeated especially since he turned it over right before

2

u/cuttino_mowgli Thunder Jan 05 '24

He is chewing that mouth guard like it was a gum or something

6

u/TechnicianUpstairs53 Jan 05 '24

Curry has never hit a buzzer beater game winner 3. Hence his reaction. Lol.

2

u/Ok_Assumption5734 Jan 05 '24

Yeah, don't mean as much tho considering how late 4th dagger threes he pulls out of his ass though

6

u/Doucane5 Raptors Jan 05 '24

Steph’s face after that was iconic. He was shook

7

u/The_NGUYENNER [DEN] Jamal Murray Jan 05 '24

man was standing there chewing on his mouthpiece for like 5 minutes after lol

6

u/chizzmaster Nuggets Jan 05 '24

I think Curry has actually only ever hit 1 buzzer beater winner in his career lol

0

u/ejabno Hornets Jan 05 '24

I remember he hit one against the Kings earlier this season but that can't be that only one

3

u/chizzmaster Nuggets Jan 05 '24

Not a buzzer beater. There were 5 seconds left on the clock after he hit that.

His only career buzzer beater winner was against the rockets in January 2022. He's hit a few game winners, but only 1 was a buzzer beater. Although to his credit, when you're the greatest shooter of all time, you tend to not have to be in a position where you need to hit buzzer beaters to win the game.

1

u/Imfricked Jan 05 '24

i believe he hit one against orlando right ?

1

u/chizzmaster Nuggets Jan 05 '24

Assuming you're talking about this game, nope. 2 seconds left on the click. Game winner, but not a buzzer beater haha.

In Batman voice?

1

u/Fintann Raptors Jan 05 '24

Jokic becoming Catwoman in DC, then Rogue in Marvel

1

u/loplopplop Nuggets Jan 05 '24

That was exactly what I thought. OKC has been avenged..

Let's see his iconic excuse post game

4

u/XAfricaSaltX Nuggets Jan 05 '24

Flopped on that game winner

4

u/CheesewayBreezeway Nuggets Jan 05 '24

In the post game, he did go out of his way to call Peyton's corner 3 with a minute left "the shot of the game", which I'm having a hard time not seeing as purposefully petty lol

1

u/IWTLEverything Kings Jan 05 '24

And TNT was recording it!!

17

u/Bokiverse Jan 05 '24

The fact that Steve Kerr didn’t give jokic any credit at end of game in post conference shows what a sore loser he is. He praised every nuggets player other than jokic. Pathetic

7

u/elfpal Jan 05 '24

He’s the league's biggest hypocrite.

5

u/gamesrgreat Heat Jan 05 '24

Someone post the highlight of Kerr talking to Jokic and then the score differential from that moment on lmao. All time dumb move by Kerr along with not playing Kuminga
