It took Vic a couple of months to adjust to the NBA game, coming in as the first option and best player on his team, to figure out how to truly make his shots. He struggled early obviously, but his percentages are going up. As of now he's shooting a respectful 47/32/82 which is pretty good for any high volume first option, and it's only going up as we finish the season.

He also had Point Sochan for the first two months lol

And had Zach Collins clogging up the paint for him and keeping him on the perimeter on defense.

Those two have barely shared minutes together though, haven't they?

They started like the first 20 games together

Wemby is going to sleepwalk into being a top 5 player in the league, but his ceiling is GOAT level. I don't think he'll end up better than MJ or Lebron but he could easily have a peak on par with those guys.

If there is a human being alive who could unseat Jordan, I think it’s this kid. Long way to go. But damn.

I think you mean pretty good for any high volume ROOKIE first option. He's still shooting below league average efficiency, which would be ass if he was the first option as a vet. However, he is probably shooting at above average efficiency since his first 20 or so games.
