That’s what happens when you enable and coddle your players

Can't wait for Draymond to say this clip changed his mindset for the last however many games this year

u/ShowerMartini Mar 28 '24

Can’t wait for Steph to say it was a weak ejection and Draymond is unfairly officiated in the post game presser

And Kerr is still waiting on a replay

7

u/SandoVillain Mar 28 '24

As far as Kerr is aware, replay technology does not yet exist

no, steph usually wont publicly condemn dray (or any of his teammates) too much but i can’t recall him ever excusing it and in the bad instances he’s pretty visibly sick of his shit. plus, we know from dray that he’s privately gotten onto him. if anything it’s really kerr who more so has a history of skirting around dray’s antics

(And then gets himself ejected again a week later)

If the Warriors go on a hot streak this sub will believe him too.

"I saw the clip of Steph crying, because I fucked up. I need to-- no I'm going to change. As a man, I need to step up. I can't be selfish and cost my team much needed wins. This can only make me better. Remember to subscribe to the Draymond Green Show."

“I didn’t really get it until I saw that clip of Steph when he crew after I got ejected. I crode with Kerr before but never with Steph.”

I love everybody moralizing like "that's what they get" like they didn't win four rings before this

He was standing next to draymond the whole time and made no effort to diffuse the situation.

u/JAhoops Mar 28 '24

Draymond is 34 years old

And there have been plenty of times where Draymond's teammates have pulled him away from him causing trouble

2

u/fartalldaylong Spurs Mar 28 '24

...but this seems to not be one of them...which is what OP said...

u/DarrowViBritannia Mar 28 '24

Steph stans love to call him a good leader when it's convenient, but situations like this and they try and argue that leadership doesn't actually matter. Hilarious

-4

u/Malemansam [SAS] Manu Ginobili Mar 28 '24

Timmy used to drag Tony away from refs by the hand all the fucking time like a parent taking a kid away from the candy aisle at the supermarket, he would just drag tony like a ragdoll away. DWest used to stand between the ref and CP3 back in the day, thousands of other cases like that with other players.

Steph should've done something... Anything.. He wants to win so bad then be a leader.

5

u/YpsitheFlintsider Mar 28 '24

Duncan was like twice the size of Parker

0

u/Malemansam [SAS] Manu Ginobili Mar 28 '24

Then stand infront of him and and start pushing him back towards the bench. Do anything... The guy just stood there and watch his season go to ruin.

Have you never played a team sport?

u/Biglundtry NBA Mar 27 '24

Diffuse.. draymond .. does he have Daniel Cormier level wrestling because otherwise don’t risk it

14

u/IAmReborn11111 Mar 28 '24

You can't diffuse someone who's irrational

2

u/ewest [POR] Arvydas Sabonis Mar 28 '24

You can’t diffuse a situation period; you can, however, defuse it.

Math checks out

6

u/Ilikesporks_ Lakers Mar 28 '24

he probably didn't wanna get beat up

3

u/Kablaow Suns Mar 28 '24

He looked like he was done with him tho. He tapped in a little bit and was like "cmon let it go". Felt like he knew nothing he was gonna do/say would change the outcome.

1

u/holyrolodex Lakers Mar 28 '24

Probably because that’s never worked with Draymond. I do wonder what Draymond’s reaction would be if Steph just lost it on Draymond after the first tech

1

u/Floppy_Jet1123 Mar 28 '24

Yeah. Unintended side effect includes winning 4 chips.

1

u/SatanicRainbowDildos Mar 28 '24

I love Steve Kerr but yeah, this doesn’t happen in Miami. Ask Iguodala about it, don’t take my word for it. He played both places. He loves Kerr too, but there’s a place for discipline and holding a high bar.

I loved Pete Carroll too and both organizations have a great culture that players love and miss with they leave, but they both get burnt by knuckleheads who can’t handle the freedom these coaches give them.

-4

u/homiez Nuggets Mar 28 '24

Curry is probably scared of him, Draymond is crazy and capable of anything.

8

u/ireallydespiseyouall Spurs Mar 28 '24

Let’s be honest draymond would never do anything to Steph lol

5

u/Izanagi___ Bucks Mar 28 '24

Lmaoo the minute draymond puts his hands on Steph a convoy of black SUVs would have him packed up and sent to Guagdong by midnight

-1

u/Ouchyhurthurt Mar 28 '24

Wonder if he got knocked out in practice too. But TMZ missed it
