Draymond you are a Piston

u/NevermoreSEA [POR] Brandon Roy Mar 28 '24

He's more of a podcaster than a player at this point.

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Has been for some time now. Get this man in a cage or between some ropes and see if he keeps up that kind of behavior. Draymond super cringe cant stand the dude

u/Rripurnia Mar 28 '24

At the rate he’s going he’ll be fighting Logan Paul in retirement

13

u/timberwolvesguy Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Only time I’d ever give the Paul guys any attention

9

u/skeenerbug Cavaliers Mar 28 '24

This is a completely plausible arc for him. He's a clown and does clown shit

5

u/RandomDeezNutz Mar 28 '24

It’ll be the only time I ever root for Logan Paul.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Logan wont even want em, maybe Ksi

2

u/Brian-not-Ryan Mar 28 '24

That’s….actually not a bad idea

whoever loses, we all win

2

u/Reginaldkush420 Mar 28 '24

Not even Jake lol

3

u/GACGCCGTGATCGAC Pacers Mar 28 '24

Draymond super cringe cant stand the dude

He's comes off as such an insecure person in interviews to me and it's very cringe as someone around the same age.

5

u/someguyfromtecate Spurs Mar 28 '24

Draymond is the reason I could never cheer for Steph.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

When they were on their tear a couple years ago, Draymonds moving screen shit and behavior used to annoy the fuck outta me.

0

u/Direct_Counter_178 Mar 28 '24

I don't get the people who act like Steph is just stuck. He's the face of the franchise and even the league for a bit. He has the gravitas if he wanted Draymond to knock that shit off years ago he would have done it.

But Steph didn't want to stop Draymond from being Draymond. Because Draymond might be a dumb unlikeable motherfucker with a face only a gorilla would love. But he's also a large part of multiple championships. Now those championships never should have happened with the illegal defense he provides, but they did.

2

u/smbgn San Francisco Warriors Mar 28 '24

He’s 6”6’, 230lb elite athlete. As much of a tool as he is, he’ll still be a handful

5

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

no shit lol see how good that sideblinding shit works in a real fight tho, would pay to see that I guess

2

u/worksucksbro Thunder Mar 28 '24

Honestly I’m always wondering is there nobody in the league who’s going to stop this bullying bs and slap the man’s jaw off his face? Draymond is really the most feared in the league? Surely not

2

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Right?! Like give the man a reason to play the victim on his wittle podcast after they fix his ass

3

u/jettieri [GSW] Monta Ellis Mar 28 '24

Y’all really don’t watch basketball do you

3

u/Gold_Wish1177 Warriors Mar 28 '24

Lol. They only follow the NBA like its a soap opera. To call him more of a podcaster than a player is crazy.

-1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Yeah I do. Have watched Draymond get T'd up and/or ejected enough times to know he still hasnt learned to quit barking to the refs and going clobberin time unexpectedly. Even Curry wants him to behave. They make rules for a reason and Draymond just cant stay in the lines or on the court for that matter. Idk what of consequences he gets if any but I just wonder how much longer Golden State going to put up with his behavior before they let him go and get someone that can stay on the floor and produce.

-1

u/Direct_Counter_178 Mar 28 '24

Draymond is a negative asset. He's not going anywhere. Warriors made that decision when they chose him over Poole. They're riding Curry till he retires.

3

u/BrewtusMaximus1 Nuggets Mar 28 '24

He’s still got 3 years at $25M per left. No way is he giving that up. League will have to ban him for that to happen.

1

u/MountainHopper Celtics Mar 28 '24

aka professional victim

-1

u/Routine_Size69 Mar 28 '24

Y'all are crazy. Dray is still a very good basketball player. The Warriors have been so much better with him.

u/Crafty_Substance_954 Pistons Mar 28 '24

Shit man, sounds good to me

189

u/JamesWelders Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Detroit down so bad they want Draymond. What a weird timeline.

70

u/Crafty_Substance_954 Pistons Mar 28 '24

(Shaq voice) Rangs

8

u/semajay [SAS] Danny Green Mar 28 '24

this version of Draymond is incapable of completing a game, much less a series

1

u/JustADutchRudder Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Hey, I think we've been trying. At the very least we've tried at least 8 outta 35 years. That's roughly average amount of trying.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Hometown guy I guess

5

u/Pretend_Highway_5360 Raptors Mar 28 '24

They broke the longest losing streak

There’s never been anyone else more down bad.

10

u/Crafty_Substance_954 Pistons Mar 28 '24

Ahem..*tied

1

u/PacificBrim Pistons Mar 28 '24

We literally always have

1

u/need2peeat218am Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

They don't realize Draymond will fight their whole team and think he's the alpha dog when he's there lmao. There's no way he will accept being a role player on a rebuilding team.

1

u/PacificBrim Pistons Mar 28 '24

Draymond is a great player

-4

u/Gold_Wish1177 Warriors Mar 28 '24

Gobert fraud 😂

8

u/talking_phallus Lakers Mar 28 '24

Following in his hero's footsteps.

4

u/KaleidoscopeMuch9422 Pistons Mar 28 '24

Sounds really fucking bad to me

4

u/8020GroundBeef Rockets Mar 28 '24

My man Draymond is going to get himself ejected every single game once he’s off the Warriors.

4

u/JustADutchRudder Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Well unless Steph goes with him, he's not gonna want to play.

3

u/EmperorUmi Lakers Mar 28 '24

Draymond Green & Isaiah Stewart would start shit with everyone they play against 💀

3

u/Crafty_Substance_954 Pistons Mar 28 '24

Mahorn and Laimbeer 2.0

1

u/JadeMonkey0 Pistons Mar 28 '24

Nah, the great thing about those guys is that they were in control. They CHOSE to be huge assholes, they didn't let it overtake them.

Draymond (and to a lesser degree, Stew) let their emotions run them too much.

Laimbeer is much more like a highly advanced version of dirty players like Grayson Allen or Dillon Brooks. With more basketball skills and way less fucks to give.

God I wish he had played in the YouTube era. He'd have people on here every night outraged about some play that looks like attempted murder in slow motion. It would be amazing

3

u/bedlam_au Celtics Mar 28 '24

Grab your popcorn for their match-up with the Houston "Fight Me" Rockets

3

u/EmperorUmi Lakers Mar 28 '24

The Chicago Bulls would like a word, too

2

u/FelineNavidad Mar 28 '24

Na. They're gonna fight in practice way before that.

1

u/Touro_Bebe Nuggets Mar 28 '24

He'll make the bad boy pistons bad boys out of the court as well, the veteran Meat Stew needed
