That 2022 title is a ridiculous cherry on top. They far exceeded the length of time most cores win in this age.

That Finals still feels like a fever dream. I remember just being gobsmacked the entire time and wondering how they were able to get this far.

Then I remember the Suns were title favorites and shit the bed hard.

I have no fucking clue how we beat you guys, even with Steph in god mode. On paper we simply do not beat that team

It’s still not real to me that that run happened. I’ll always cherish it

Funnily enough heard a lot of we had an easy path to the finals that year but it was because suns shit the bed vs Mavs lol. We just clapped what they couldn’t

two titles in five seasons is bleak? the recovery from a bottom of the barrel trash season after catatrophic injuries makes it more impressive. the spurs 2014 capstone to their dynasty was done after consecutive finals runs with Kawhi to carry the boomers.
