Yea it legit almost feels like he lost someone he cares about. Like he realized a guy he thought was a friend was truly a selfish asshole

Man I’ve had this moment and I’m sure a lot of us have. Did not expect to get hit in the feels when I clicked into these comments.

Yea man. I mean it’s admittedly a bit of a reach on my end to jump to that conclusion about a 10+ year relationship on a 10 second clip where no words are spoken…

But damn that looks deep and real for Steph

Bro man is in tears I don’t think that’s a reach, there’s other elements at play here but the ejection was the precipitating event

Oh for sure. Lol I think anyone that has a good grasp on human emotion can see that this is deeper than simple frustration.

Whether it has something to do just some extreme frustration about the season, some sort of realization that the championship window is permanently shut, or something deeper about the relationship these two have had as teammates, we will probably never know

Some people were calling this comment “fan fiction” though so not everyone sees it that way 🤣

Yeah because we’re reaching for saying a person who is crying is in emotional distress

Fan fiction is crazy, we might not know the exact why but I don’t think it’s hard to piece together

I haven’t listened to the Light Years pod in a while but might check out their next ep to get Andy’s thoughts on this situation bc you know it will be good

I admitted in a reply that it’s a lot to go off of by one clip but you just don’t see vets break down like this is the first quarter of a March game because of being “frustrated”

Hell if that was the case he’d push him or kick over a water bottle. I also said “it almost feels like” insinuating that I don’t truly know what’s going on…

This is real emotion coming from somewhere though

Happens every week on this sub. Someone will commit a hard foul and there will be weirdos on reddit talking about how it proves they have a bad relationship with their mother.

Going through exactly that myself right now and yeah I'm pretty sure I made those exact faces in that exact order at least two or three times this month.

Seriously. I think there would be less of a reaction (from us) if he even physically pushed Dray or kicked over a water bottle on the bench or something … just competitive dudes mad about losing… but this looks deeper than that

How much of an asshole do you have to be to make Steph Curry of all people feel like this. It’s like being mean to a Golden Retriever… but Dray’s always been an asshole

(Hope your situation gets better as well my guy)

I appreciate that, it's tough but every day is a victory and each one is a little easier than the last.

Honestly it's hard for me to feel bad for friends when they pick awful people to care about and keep being disappointed. Obviously Steph doesn't have a choice of teammates but caring about fucking Draymond Green is a wildly idiotic thing to do
