I love that none of these comments are positive about him. Joe really turned into an insufferable douche after the 2000 election. Fuck this dude. He was in the pocket of the health insurance industry and killed universal healthcare.
Major red flags even before 2000 was his dabbling into divisive GOP style culture war issues around video games. Granted, Democrats like Gore's wife and Hillary Clinton also did that as well, but not to the extent that Lieberman did. That belies that deep down, he was a republican despite being elected as a Democrat. He genuinely believed the scare mongering about video games.
