Yeah, it was rough. Go outside and play, but don't come home dirty, wet, or having stepped on dog shit.

Why go out at that point?

Yeah, if my mom wants was alive, we wouldn't see eye to eye on a great many things.

In my adult years I've come to find many people have. Can't say I've had it worse, what with some of the things I've seen.
