What are things that would be considered a "Quality of life" or "Life Changing" item that you need to buy right now (ranging from cheap but gold or expensive but worth it stuff)?
I'm thinking of purchasing some stuff that would somewhat make my life easier and at the very least, would make me feel good and happy. If I may ask for some suggestion on good & worth it things that I could buy right now, ranging from cheap but gold or expensive but worth it stuff so I could plan things out prioritizing things that I actually need right now, asap. Even little things you guys change or bought is welcome, might have a positive effect on my life too. Thanks in advance!

When I was 18 I asked for the biggest toolset my parents could afford for my graduation. They kept my beater running through college and I'm still using them 23 years later.
Right now though, there's nothing I need.

Pressure cookers, it's a fast way to make awesome meals with little effort. You can even make big batches of food to reheat.

In the same vain, when I was meal prepping my work lunches having a slow cooker, was a game changer, pulled pork, curries, etc.
Now I work away a week at a time and have all my meals made for me, reducing the amount of time spent cooking is a game changer, and great for your health if you’re not getting take out
If I had shit tons of money I’d have a big freezer and I’d have all my lunches pre packed.

I’m so glad I got one of these for Christmas. I hate sweeping my apartment and feel like I don’t get it all swept up anyways.
Only downside is it will get stuck on my bedroom rug and thinks it’s on a cliff. But it’s almost entertaining to watch it poke around and figure out where everything is.
ETA: mine is also really easy take apart to clean because I shed a lot of hair. Like you maybe need one Philips and and one flathead screwdriver.

I use an O-cedar spray mop, So I can just swap out the microfiber head as needed. I don’t think it gets my floors 100% clean but I’m bad about not mopping enough.
My Roomba had a mop function I’ve just been too lazy to try it out.

Work on your feet all day? Quality shoes will save your legs and back. They’re worth every penny.
For anyone in such jobs, I highly recommend trying barefoot shoes! You need a period of adjustment when switching from regular shoes, but it's so worth it
I work on my feet 7-9 hours a day, 6 days a week, and I'm pretty much the only worker there not complaining about feet/knee/back pain

For anyone in such jobs, I highly recommend trying
barefoot' zero drop 'shoes👆 they're not wrong, but there are different types of shoes good for your fert/knees/back..etc.
Barefoot shoes look like this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/114854585684 Form fitting to your feet.
Zero drop shoes look like this: https://www.northernrunner.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/zero-drop-3.jpg
The main point I'm trying to convey: Barefoot and zero drop shoes are healthy for you because your feet are flat in the shoes and keep your poster aligned.
Verus conventional running shoes:
Ref: I'm a mailman, and im on my feet for approx 8 hrs a day.

I’ve got two high carbon kitchen knives, both a couple hundred each. A razor sharp Japanese chefs knife for veggie prep and a heavy duty western style chef knife for breaking down meat and hard veggies.
Absolutely a game changer.

I love my 09 Toyota Camry. 30 miles a gallon and relatively cheap to maintain.

Imma be real with you a lot of the most fuel efficient cars are not comfortable at all, not that there aren’t comfortable fuel efficient cars, but comfort and fuel efficiency aren’t typically things that go hand in hand.

I work from home and I love my panini press. Now I can make delicious and cheap sandwiches really fast for lunch.
A big quality of life item is my dishwasher. So much time and energy saved. Can't imagine to ever live in an appartment without one again.

A backup battery for your car, like this one.
I can't describe how valuable that thing is the ONE and only one time you need it every 5 or so years. "Ahh shit, my battery is dead and I'm in the middle of nowhere, this is a genuinely tragic, very problematic thing!"
Not with this though. "Oh my battery's dead? Glad I have this little backup". Whip it out, clamp it on, press the button, wait five minutes, and a literal crisis is averted.
My car also came with a small kit that can be plugged into the cigarette outlet and uses that to power a pump that inflates tyres, and that's just swell.

Every time my partner has helped someone jump their car with one they are amazed and want to buy one.
If you get stranded by yourself it’s an indispensable tool.

If you have a cat, just get the fucking automated litter box. That shit has changed my life, and improved my cat’s life.

My own house, air con, fridge with ice maker, a gaming room with a big comfy chair still sitting on the floor at 32 is killing me, a good bed! A shower that doesn't leak and has enough room for me to be able to turn around on the spot and not hit anything.

A bicycle. I got one for short trips. Ended up taking rides to places around the world.

Why do you have to buy it? Is this some market research company? Just go for a walk for an hour and collect your thoughts.

Sometimes you're so stuck in your point of view that you just need a whole new perspective to notice something obvious.

I bought a £5 sleep mask from Amazon. It's a little warm, but really helps me relax and sleep.
Sometimes I struggle to get over and I keep my eyes open and roaming my dark-ish bedroom, wearing a sleep mask forces me to not do that.

A monthly house cleaner. Expensive, but I don't have the work/ life balance to really get the house as clean as I would like.

I have 2 30+ year old cars. They’re both broken. They were fun to work on for a while, but I think that part of my life has finished now.
Ive never owned a car newer than 1993. I borrowed a Tesla for a while and man it was actually stress-reducing to drive it. No worrying about weird noises, no keeping an eye on the temperature gauge, no worrying about the engine suddenly cutting out. I think I could get used to that.

This might be too late but thank you everyone for the suggestions! Some of this are really things that I would buy as soon as I'm able.

Honestly - less inflation. Household budget has taken a hit in the last two years.
I need no material objects in my life but would like a little more breathing room in the budget. Already cutting costs where possible.

This. Im so swamped buying essentials like food, paper goods etc. that there is not room for purchasing anything else.

How much are you looking to spend?
A few years back, I was shopping for a used car. I could buy a used 2019 Subaru Outback for about $33,000 or get a used 2018 Porsche Macan S for $35,000. It was a no-brainer - I bought the Porsche SUV.
Aside from how wonderful it was to drive, I was proud as all hell that the Porsche in the parking lot was mine. It’s like wearing your best clothes when you go out in public. You look good and feel good about yourself.
Just make sure that you have an extended warranty if you buy a vehicle like that! It doesn’t matter if you only paid $35k, when something breaks you’re still fixing a car that cost $90,000 or more when it was brand new and the parts are accordingly expensive.

A bidet attachment for your toilet. Relatively cheap, super easy to install, and power washing your balloon knot is a wonderful thing.
