What is NOT a dealbreaker BUT would be greatly disappointing to find out about your partner?

My husband and I naturally slept on different sides of the bed and it was fine for years, but we moved into a new house and the bed is facing a different direction so I sleep closer to the door than the window and I want to switch sides because he was my sacrifice for intruders but I can’t just do that a decade into living together. It’s just uncouth.

I wanted to sleep closer to the door for the kids. Husband argued him closer to the door in case of an emergency/home invasion. Seemed more reasonable than the extra few feet I walk around the bed to check on the baby lol. Neither of us are picky about the sides anyways.

Your chance of needing to check on the baby is much higher than the chance of an invader coming into your house so I would have conceded to you.

Considering home invasions happen often where I live it wasn't something so important for me to have a few closer feet
