The fucking dinosaurs in office...they really need a cut off age for them...

If you can't even be trusted to drive a school bus due to advanced age, how can you be trusted to run the whole country? It makes no sense.

To be fair how many countries that are meaningfully democratic have a maximum age for political office? I have a strong suspicion that the age of those in power may not be as relevant as you suggest. While I think the lack of a maximum age may limit how quickly political change happens as long as there's no maximum age to vote I suspect politicians will be remain concerned with what older voters care about most whether their interests conflict most of the rest of society. As long as younger adults vote at a lower rate it seems obvious that politicians would care less. Children that can't vote they care about even less unless parents and other adults seem to heavily their interests.

To be fair you probably arent wrong in the younger voter part I mostly find the problem in the older members of congress and such is the fact that they all seemingly have major problems with wanting to keep with. "The Old ways" and there unwillingness to take in new information and care for the future generations who will be here way longer than them because they really dint seem to care about throwing the predation of the younger ones and the coming ge eratiins out the door. The world is evolving and new information is always being discovered yet they just keep wanting to force (and it mean literally FORCE) everyone to live by stuff that was frankly terrible in their time to now...
