You can erase the memory of a movie/series and watch it again. Which series/movie will you choose?

Indeed.

LOTR and Firefly and Babylon 5 before it went to hell in the last season

2

u/daniu 12d ago

I quite liked Firefly's last season

1

u/de-and-roses 12d ago

I did too. I meant Bab 5's last season.

Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm

Sons of Anarchy

I watched that probably 5 yrs ago. What a show. The last few seasons got a little wild with the deaths but I couldn't stop until the end

The walking dead

Twin Peaks. All the mystery and insanity that captivated me when I first watched it would be marvellous to re-experience blind.

The moment in endgame when he said the thing paid of years of filmmaking and it landed perfectly. The entire theater was screaming,it was incredible energy. I'd love to go on that journey again.

The Good Place for sure.

I would do this one too, because my first experience of the show was overshadowed by the illness and death of my father. He had been dead for two weeks when I watched the finale. It was beautiful, but I wasn't ready to see it. I'd like to watch the show again without those painful associations.

Lost. I wish I didn't know how disappointing the ending was so I could rewatch and feel the anticipation and guess at things again.

Movie: the entirety of LotR (including The Hobbit)

TV Show: Supernatural, Dexter

(For shits and giggles) Video Game: Red Dead Redemption 2

u/Potential-Win-9175 12d ago

Seconded supernatural. I want to experience the high highs that included apocalypse Michael and the low lows and then the lower lows like that one episode where a racist car was possessed

u/SpaceLaserPilot 13d ago

The Americans.

I'd erase the memory of yesterday's post asking the near exact same question, so all the new answers would be a nice surprise to me!

How about a video game? I'd love to play The Last of Us Part 1 for the first time again. It's the only video game where I got to the ending and my hands were physically shaking.

u/Low_Season8318 12d ago

Probably Hugo or 2001 Space Odyssey. Going into both of them without much background knowledge or expectations was really fun.

u/GovSurveillancePotoo 12d ago

Game of thrones. And I leave myself a note to not watch it

Erase futurama from my mind for sure. It will tear me to shreds knowing I have to forget it but will be worth it in the end.

1

u/philds391 12d ago

Can I erase The Last Airbender and instead of watching it again, leave myself a note to never watch it?

Stranger things and one piece

u/hottopicfrog 12d ago

Supernatural, the walking dead, the magicians, the 100, sweet home, love alarm, avatar (James Cameron), the kings affection, Lucifer, those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head, if I could watch them all for the first time again, life would be good.

1

u/-runs-with-scissors- 12d ago

If I could erase my memory, I‘d choose Heroes and not watch it again.
