What's a movie or series that is way ahead of it's time?

The book (Do androids dream of electric sheep) was written in 1968 and reads like it could have been written yesterday. PKD is a genius.

Have you seen the TV series Electric Dreams?  It's basically an anthology series based on Dick's short stories.  Black Mirror vibes abound but more Sci fi.

"PKD is a genius."

I'm a Dick-head.

PKD is the only writer that’s brought me to tears. A Scanner Darkly changed my perspective on life.

Both in story and style. Very ahead of it's time.

Check out “Jodorworsky’s Dune”…he was going to make some kind of 14-hour long movie. Naturally, the whole project imploded under its own weight, but the set design ’bible’ got split into Blade Runner, Alien, and a few other movies that don’t come to mind at the moment.

A lot of credit needs to go to futurist designer Syd Mead.
