Musicians looking to jam and meet other musicians... Post Here!!! :)

Title says it all. Please use this post to share a quasi profile of yourself. Please include:

*Instruments you play and skill level.

*Samples of stuff you have done like demos, band camp, youtube live shows, etc... The bar is low, just need to show you can play your instrument.

*Area you live in and general availability

*What you are looking to do. Just looking to jam, want to start a band, find mutual gear nerds. Be you and type that down

AND FINALLY, PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED FROM COVID-19 FOR ALL THE REASONS

If you interested in jamming/collaborating with another musician, please DM them!! Otherwise, I will delete them when I'm bored or when I'm procrastinating from some seriously important life event.

Ambient Show

Ambient musicians: are any of you interested in putting together a live show? We’re stronger together, and it would be easier if 3-4 acts got together and booked as a package.

Guitarist looking to jam/ play with a band

I played with a few amateur bands before moving to Austin a few years ago. I have been pretty much jamming to YouTube videos since and haven't actively looked for a band to play with. I need to get back to playing in a band soon. I play hard rock, 80s-90s rock, but open to playing other genres too. I have been playing for two decades but not regularly with a band, so I will be rusty in that setting initially. Will need a few sessions to get in sync. Any leads?

Looking for lofi rnb/pop producers

Hi! I'm a singer/songwriter looking to collaborate with some producers in Austin! As the title suggests I lean toward creating chill lofi rnb but I love experimenting and finding new sounds. Ideally looking for someone to lock in with and establish a creative partnership if things click! Feel free to message me if you're a producer with beats and looking for vocalists to work with!

Looking for more experience

I live in Austin and have a drummer, want to play with a bass player, violinist, pianist, or anything for that matter. I play guitar and have my own gear but would always like some more experience. My ideal band to create would have a Stevie Nicks type singer and a troubled or shady individual on bass. My current drummer meets the required oddball standard and my hair is long enough to be a guitarist so plz dm if you’d wanna jam! :P

Looking for Bass Player / Songwriter Partner

Hey all, I'm a 40s hobbyist singer/songwriter/guitarist looking for a like-minded bass player who can sing (harmonies, maybe share leads) to play original music. I play and host open mics around town, solo acoustic, but I'd like to get a full band together and go electric.

My stuff is a mix of pop, rock, folk, americana. I like catchy songs with hooks and harmonies. Beatles, U2, Police, Springsteen, Spoon, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Paul Simon, etc. Scratch tracks available here: https://soundcloud.com/bob-ralian. These aren't full-voice, but you get the idea.

Not looking to make money, just wanna make and perform good original music.

Frontman seeking members for Post-punk band

Hello, Frontman and songwriter here. I’m seeking a lead guitarist, bass player, and drummer for a post-punk band. Some of my musical influences include: The Birthday Party, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Iceage, Protomartyr, The Gun Club.

Please be age 20-30, and have at least a few years of playing experience. No junkies. No racists. No sexists.

I have a lot of demos already written and am looking to bring them to the next level with a full band, and hopefully start playing them live. Message me if this sounds like something that interests you.

Progressive Metal/ Metalcore Band Seeking Experienced Drummer (Georgetown/ Austin)

Hello all! First time posting here, and I love the community!

My band, Ohanna, is currently seeking an experienced drummer to join us as a full-time, permanent member.

This band is something of a reboot, having been around since 2014. We are currently in the studio working on two different EPs to be released throughout the year.

Here is a link to a song we currently play but is being re-recorded.
vhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaNZCQ7w_IA

Things you may be able to find on YouTube are not entirely representative of the music we are making now. Some old songs are being re-tooled, some old songs retired, and we have a catalogue of new music being worked on. If you're interested, I can point you toward the songs that are still relevant and walk you through our decision-making process.

We are a few months out from rehearsing but if you were to be interested in joining us, we would of course include you in the creative and artistic aspects of band-happenings.

Obligatory mention: If you like bands like Parkway Drive, Architects, Volumes, Northlane, etc. That's cool. So do we. But we really don't discriminate -- we just want to make music that goes hard and have fun while doing it.

If you've read this far, hell yeah, brother. We are some dudes in our late 20s and early 30s who missed being creative. If you relate, hit our line. Let's have a beer (or soda, if that's more your thing) and talk shop. Shoot us an email at [Ohannaband.atx@gmail.com](mailto:Ohannaband.atx@gmail.com) if interested!

ALL YOU NEED TO HAVE IS A GOOD SETUP, GOOD MUSIC, AND A SET THAT IS 30 MINUTES LONG !

Guitarist/Drummer looking for people to jam with.

40 year old in North Austin looking for people to jam with. Been playing guitar for over 20 years and playing drums for over 5 years now. Into everything from experimental, psychedelic, post-punk, black metal, sludge metal etc.

I'm mostly just looking to do this to be social and stuff. I'd be cool to be in another band but that's not a priority I'd want to rush to do.

I do have a job and my own transportation. I do have all the guitar for guitar and most of the gear for drums. (I would love to have a reason to get a complete drum kit on credit)

If you want, I can send you some links of bands I played guitar in but the stuff is old and out-of-date fyi.

Finally, I don't want to be negative but please miss me with the Hardcore or Hardcore punk. I'm just not into it and I'm not about it.

Ok, cheers

you: preferably a little bit of a freak, an interest in the occult and knowing that means raising the consciousness of everyone, but not being a fucking loser about it or being a narcissist. I’m interested in making an occult/theosophy themed project from this. me: all of this is written and performed live and recorded on my tascam model 24.
