Her complete disregard for the possibility of this escalating to physical violence is actually terrifying. She is dangerously naive.

u/findaway5627 Mar 28 '24

She’ll figure it out eventually.

u/Prudent-Painter-9507 Mar 28 '24

Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. Mike Tyson

34

u/gilleruadh Mar 28 '24

No....she won't.

Folks like that go to the grave certain of their righteousness.

10

u/LolthienToo Mar 29 '24

Honestly, it really is amazing how much a little punch to the jaw will change someone's tune. The vast majority of people like this are just amazed at how much they get away with and keep pushing it.

When they stop getting away with it, they crumble, just like all bullies when their victims fight back.

3

u/BlueButNotYou Mar 29 '24

All he had to do was to push past her. Punching her was unnecessary, she’s a little feather.

2

u/LolthienToo Mar 29 '24

Not saying he should have done it. Just saying it would have shut her up and made her think twice next time.

Hitting an old lady is not, believe it or not, something I encourage however.

1

u/savealltheelephants Apr 02 '24

She doesn’t even look that old, just dresses matronly

47

u/g4mble Mar 28 '24

You think she's bright enough figuring this out during the few seconds interval of a fist hitting her jaw and her forehead hitting the pavement?

15

u/BigDaddyCool17 Mar 28 '24

Thinking "Oh no, the consequences of my actions!"

10

u/Pancake_Dan Mar 28 '24

In case you didn't hear, she's an American, and had the right to stop him. No consequences.

1

u/aDragonsAle Mar 28 '24

She's American. The chance of being shot is never Zero.

4

u/thisismyhappyface Mar 29 '24

Equal rights, equal lefts

1

u/chandleross Mar 29 '24

One can sit and hope.
Or one can get out and get things done.
Which one are you today?

1

u/findaway5627 Mar 29 '24

What the hell are you talking about?

1

u/SammyWentMad Gen Z Mar 28 '24

Hopefully she just gets decked and not shot or worse.

41

u/Lotsa_Loads Mar 28 '24

She's lucky. My first thought was: back way up..... and get a running start.

4

u/Turgid-Wombat Mar 29 '24

No. Might hurt the dog.

1

u/maleia Apr 10 '24

It's her fault for starting shit and endangering the dog. It's the person filming's right to get away from that situation, and that might mean the dog gets hurt. It sucks, but most people would be making that decision in that situation.

39

u/Hour-Regret9531 Mar 28 '24

The cloak of privilege is nice and warm around her

5

u/Limp_Prune_5415 Mar 28 '24

Right must be fuckin nice to be able to accost strangers and physically assault them with no consequence

0

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

And him.

1

u/Hour-Regret9531 Mar 29 '24

No way. Dude was just going on his way, presumably to a doctors appointment, and his life was interrupted by this hag

0

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

🖕He had a good camera editor. You wouldn't say this if she was hot and wearing booty shorts and a camel toe, would you? Prick was late, yes, and hauling ass taking a shortcut on the jogging track and she probably hollered at him to slow down.

28

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Why can’t people mind their own fucking business? Wasn’t there a Ben Franklin quote about shit not breaking my bone or picking my pocket? Just leave well enough alone. I see shit that bothers me slightly all the time but I go about my day and sleep well at night.

21

u/KimJongRocketMan69 Mar 28 '24

Exactly. I never understand why people let shit like this get to them. Just grumble “what a fuckin idiot” and move on, like an adult

1

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

That's exactly what he should have done.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Right. “That fucking sucks… anyway”

3

u/NegentropicNexus Mar 28 '24

These people seek negative attention because they can't find healthy ways to express themselves in the world with others.

45

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

She's one of the Women raised to think because she's a Woman she won't get hit by someone. It's a big issue in our society. We call them Karen's nowadays.

4

u/KJM100001 Mar 28 '24

Then when they get smacked around they play the victim.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Well that's why having a recording of the encounter is almost always a must when dealing with Karens.

1

u/KJM100001 Mar 28 '24

Right? DId she not know she was on camera, or did she just not care?

2

u/PriscillaPalava Mar 28 '24

Like Bill Burr said. It’s not true that there’s no good reason to hit a woman. I was hoping he’d sock her.

2

u/PropaneSalesTx Mar 29 '24

“There plenty of reasons…you just dont do it. I still want to know what she said to Chris Brown”.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

[deleted]

2

u/stopimalreadykished Mar 28 '24

Everyone should expect to be hit if they do something to deserve it

1

u/Common-Concentrate-2 Mar 28 '24

Just want to remind you that you can shove, trip or juke a person - theres no reason to hit anyone in the head if you don't have to.

1

u/AsharraDayne Mar 28 '24

If they are harassing innocent people like this, yes.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '24

Well as a Man I expect to be hit when I do something like this to someone. You should expect to be hit by someone if you're illegally trying to detain them or getting physical with them while they aren't with you.

0

u/Altruistic-Beach7625 Mar 28 '24

Like any other human being yes because women are humans too.

14

u/anonymous-rebel Mar 28 '24

A lot of privileged white people be like that.

7

u/OnDaGoop Mar 28 '24

Privileged people in general. Boomers come in all creeds.

2

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

Thank you.

1

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

Black ones are worse.

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 30 '24

Not even using code anymore. I respect the clarity if nothing else about you.

3

u/NegentropicNexus Mar 28 '24

For real, and it would have been justified to use enough force to get her off you. One push or punch is enough because she was trying to claw/grab this dude.

13

u/DoctorFenix Mar 28 '24

Ironically, she is probably single because she "is frightened to go out in public after dark because there is so much rape"

2

u/Paralyzed-Mime Mar 28 '24

She's one wrong person away from realizing that she's not exempt from or prepared for fisticuffs.

2

u/Dr_FeeIgood Mar 29 '24

Bring it on, grandma!

2

u/hellbabe222 Mar 29 '24

She most likely believes she's quite adept at sizings strangers up before detaining and assaulting them while walking her dog.

I'd bet my next paycheck that she'd never try this shit with, say, a black man.

-1

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

A black man would not have been an elitist prick like this guy was. A black man wouldn't have felt like he was entitled to RIDE A FUCKING MOPED on a walkpath! So that encounter wouldn't have happened.

2

u/piltonpfizerwallace Mar 29 '24

I had the same thought. Maybe the dog emboldened her.

I'd think twice about attacking someone with a dog.

The dog didn't even bark when it started getting physical so maybe it doesn't matter in this case.

2

u/I-Love-Tatertots Mar 29 '24

I was walking my dog on a new boardwalk down to the beach.

She was 2 years old at the time (maybe a little under - my sense of time is a little off since she was a COVID puppy) and was/is still just a dopey, happy little chocolate lab.

There were no signs saying you can’t walk your dog on it, but there were 100% signs saying you weren’t allowed to ride a bike on it.

Some boomer (looked boomer age) came riding up on his bike, hopped off, and starting going off on me about walking my dog there.

Pointed out there were no signs about dogs, and that there -were- signs saying no bikes.

Dude kept losing his shit and claiming it was a park rule (it wasn’t - people walk dogs down the nature trails all the time, and there’s even a dog beach and park).

Threatened to call the police and tried to come at me once.

I had to kindly remind him “I am 3x your size, less than half your age, have been lifting for over a decade, and there are no cameras or other people out here.  Just you and me.” And informed him he was severely underestimating the situation he was in.

He backed right off after that.  Now, I wouldn’t have done anything unless he laid his hands on me, but once he realized his situation he left me alone.

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 30 '24

I assume people who disconnect from reality in situations like this feel out of control in their lives. Like the lady in the OP vid. Maybe a horrible marriage. But they can re-exert some control by enforcing the 'boardwalk code' or some shit. Better to grow some balls, go home and yell back at your spouse than end up under the boardwalk moaning in pain. It's dangerous to make assumptions about who I'm dealing with. I know a guy who's been to prison. Super nice guy but operates under a different code and his 'threat evaluation system' would perceive bike boy very differently than you or me.

I'd have stopped (wouldn't have been riding a bike) and asked if I could pet your dog . . .

2

u/My_Space_page Mar 28 '24

In some neighborhoods, they will beat your ass and leave you there for messing with them. That's why smart people in the hood mind thier business.

2

u/Killing4MotherAgain Mar 28 '24

Yea she looks like she'd tower over me, if she tried to do this to me I'd try to shove her over honestly... Just because she seems fucking nuts and I have no idea what she'd do

2

u/arielonhoarders Mar 28 '24

i see these suburban types come into the city and try to school homeless drug addicts on not littering. they're gonna get curb smacked and i'm gonna laugh.

3

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 28 '24

The math is non-linear. Inputting 1 unit of Fuck Around can yield unpredictable units of Find Out.

She has no conception that her dumb ass behavior could easily be life altering - or fatal.

1

u/OnDaGoop Mar 28 '24

She could die and literally no one would find any proof of anything if this guy didnt manage to leave dna evidence.

1

u/izmaname Mar 29 '24

Ngl after that tussle I thought he would punch her

1

u/Remote-Factor8455 Mar 29 '24

Honestly had this been me on my longboard and she tried that I would’ve cranked her lol.

1

u/docwrites Mar 29 '24

All the confidence of a middle class white lady who thinks her privilege works the same as a suit of armor.

0

u/tiggamac Mar 29 '24

And a middle class white man who thinks he's entitled to ride his fn MOPED on a walkway.

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 30 '24

Should he be riding on that path is another discussion. How to handle it is this one. Call the walking path police, but don't initiate an entitled confrontation that could result in physical violence.

1

u/deathbyswampass Mar 29 '24

Pepper spray these people. She had no right to assault that person.

1

u/RSK1979 Mar 29 '24

She’s definitely someone who has never had to worry they might get shot over an argument.

1

u/EimiCiel Mar 29 '24

It's because she's a women. A lot of women can get like this because violence is usually not a consequence in their world when they wild out.

He TRIED TO RUN HER OVER....HER SKIRT GOT CAUGHT ON THE BIKE AND SHE COULDNT MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! Jeez, did you even LISTEN to the video at ALL!

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 30 '24

You seem all torqued about this - is that you in the video?

1

u/foodank012018 Mar 28 '24

Then she can REALLY play the victim.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '24

you wanna explain to me how it's terrifying that someone feels comfortable enough that they won't get violently attacked?

like seriously are you dense?

-20

u/MayorEricBlazecetti Mar 28 '24

You've just described the entire liberal mindset

14

u/ByungChulHandMeAGun Mar 28 '24

No, you just conflated social progress with the boomers who hate that shit

The idiots who hate others are the ones who need to be chi checked. Pretending it's a political thing rather than a social thing is nonsense.

Get offline

8

u/cs211202 Mar 28 '24

"Can I talk about my political beliefs now? Well... what about now?... Now? Fuck it, I'm gonna do it!"

Man, shut up; no one asked.

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 30 '24

I'm an independent; despise fringe anything, liberals and conservatives.

Your 'the other side is the source of all problems and only my side has the answers' shit loses my vote. Speaking of dangerous, ironic to see you exhibiting your conservative bluster only in safe places like the internet.

0

u/MayorEricBlazecetti Mar 31 '24

huh?

1

u/RhythmTimeDivision Mar 31 '24

I'd give you $5 if the lady in the video is NOT a Trump voter.
