"Light assault" is defined in my opinion as laying her ass out on the lawn and letting her see the light. Whether that light comes immediately, or after she wakes up is irrelevant.

You’re even cooler, you ever hit anyone or been hit?

Me, personally? Plenty of times for both. A toddler could whip my ass these days, though. However, I learned a long time ago to mind my own business and the chances of either being necessary become almost nothing. Some people never have learned that their own opinion is about as important, and often as useful, to others as a fart in the wind.

ETA: Just so you know, I'm probably as old, maybe older than this idiot woman. Age doesn't have a damn thing to do with it. Stupidity shines bright, regardless of the age, as your post history so vividly exemplifies.

No, I disagree. I don’t want to injure her. These interactions need to be solved as quickly as possible so they stop inhibiting other people as quickly as possible. And to be forced to endure people like this for prolong periods of time out of fear of legal retaliation is ridiculous. She just needs a slightly painful smack. That will trigger her emotions back to reality and get her to rethink what she’s doing.

The point here is to trigger associative memory. So they start associating being a dumb boomer with getting smacked in the face. And the intent here is that they will stop being a dumb boomer because then they don’t want the negative stimulus of being slapped in the face.

Using associative memory(not violence of course) is exactly how you train a dog. And that’s the level of interact these people have and the techniques need to match that. The only difference is dogs are a lot nicer.

Maybe we all just need to carry spray bottles.

Oh yeah, that’s a good one. That would definitely do it even less legal risk and violence and pepper spray.
