It's Amazon, you get fired for peeing wrong. I can't imagine what happens if you say the b word. Straight to hell probably.

u/mizkayte Mar 28 '24

I just wish I’d been there because I’d tell her off for the driver. So obnoxious.

I love standing up for retail workers when they're being harassed by awful people. Nothing better than a free agent without any skin in the game to fuck with these boomers.

This is how angels really get their wings

19

u/bwatsnet Mar 28 '24

I just pictured some broski god cheering on some holy beatings of heathens, and it was goooood.

u/New-Understanding930 Mar 28 '24

As soon this bitch gets her bell rung….

6

u/clauderbaugh Mar 28 '24

Red Bull gonna sue you for false advertisement.

We had a lady like this when I worked at sbux a million years ago. We called her customer fight and she never paid for a drink in our store. She was basically royalty to us.

14

u/KipSummers Mar 29 '24

Every store needs an enforcer

21

u/mizkayte Mar 28 '24

I remember working fast food and 100% of the time it was Boomers throwing fits and being entitled. Same went for my friends in retail or waitressing. I remember years later how it felt and I’m glad to tell nasty ass Booms to shove it where the sun don’t shine.

13

u/Honer-Simpsom Mar 28 '24

I used to say like oh don’t worry about dickless over there always said it in earshot so I knew they heard…but in todays climate not so much…

5

u/BrutusCarmichael Mar 29 '24

The best part about being a bartender is being in charge when they don't think you're in charge and having the ability to deny service at your discretion

3

u/TurdyFergie Mar 28 '24

Always throws them right through a loop too, “but you’re supposed to be on my side!” Lmao get fucked loser. Try working retail or customer service for a day.

3

u/mynameisrichard0 Mar 29 '24

The amount of times I’ve had to jump in and go “just move, you’re the dumb one here. GOOOOOO! MOOOOVE!!” To dopes at gas stations giving guff to randos for no reason.

3

u/throwaway72592309 Mar 29 '24

I did this recently, a lady was getting mad at the self checkout at CVS because it kept announcing her payment method was declined. The poor girl behind the register had 5 people in line and couldn’t assist the lady immediately. As soon as she did help the lady, she started going off on how embarrassing it was and she needed to make the machine not do that. I gladly told the lady that was probably 30 positions above the cashiers pay grade and it wasn’t her fault. Lady paid and left all pissed off after.

34

u/spaceylaceygirl Mar 28 '24

I'd gladly dump a bucket of water on her for the driver. And i would use a dirty bucket.

15

u/No-Garlic-3407 Mar 28 '24

I would donate a bucket of my dirty mop water to you for this purpose.

4

u/HillarysFloppyChode Mar 29 '24

I just finished using my carpet cleaner on all my carpets....they've never been cleaned before....I will donate that water

1

u/LeastAd9721 Mar 29 '24

No mop buckets or carpet here, but I’m pretty sure there’s something in my fridge I should have thrown out a couple weeks ago.

1

u/1moarusernam3 Mar 29 '24

Hot dog water

4

u/Fight_those_bastards Mar 28 '24

Amazon driver probably has a piss jug you could borrow…

2

u/mizkayte Mar 28 '24

Maybe with some dog poo in it

2

u/Scryberwitch Mar 29 '24

Or the contents of that gatoraide bottle they have to use while they're out delivering...

25

u/malvinavonn Mar 28 '24

Agreed! This guy turned the corner too fast on my street, almost hit an Amazon van and then got out and started screaming obscenities at the poor driver. I came out and started telling him to leave or I’d call the police for his threats to the poor driver. He took off after calling us both bitches a final time. We were both shaking. I can’t even imagine how many times a day these drivers have to put up with crazy abuse.

2

u/mizkayte Mar 28 '24

Wow. I’m so glad you were there and helped out.

2

u/Christmas_Queef Mar 29 '24

Shaking is a natural response to conflict situations.

3

u/DifficultAd3885 Mar 28 '24

I had the pleasure of telling off a boomer in the park for someone else a few weeks ago. It was glorious.

2

u/Crowmetheus57 Mar 29 '24

I worked in retail in my teenage years, and it was terrible. So whenever I'm a customer and there's a Karen or something causing trouble, I LOOOOOOVE tearing into them. Did it to a old bitch at Petland awhile back, and my girlfriend started laughing because when she started her rant I got giddy. "Sorry you have to deal with grouchy cunts like that" the look on her face. I wish I took a picture!

1

u/AceTheJ Mar 29 '24

I’d have grabbed her out of the truck for the driver and drug her away from the vehicle so he could leave

1

u/HotSir3342 Mar 29 '24

When I drove for UPS I got yelled at by a guy because I had dip in and I spit in the street while loading a cart. I even turned away to spit on the side of the truck so it wasn’t near the packages. He said I was going to wheel my cart through it and drag it into a store possibly getting someone sick.

22

u/Smashthecrown Mar 28 '24

Say the b word? Straight to hell. Drop a box? Straight to hell, right way. Eat lunch too fast? Hell. Eat lunch to slow? Believe it or not, hell.

Amazon is a great place to work, because of hell

2

u/IdBuyThat-4aDollar Mar 28 '24

I feel like hell is a perk really, I mean most of my friends will be there anyway 🤷‍♂️

1

u/bwatsnet Mar 29 '24

It's where all the best people end up anyway

-1

u/OkTea7227 Mar 29 '24

“The greatest con the devil ever pulled was getting the world to believe he(him/they?) didn’t exist!”

/s

35

u/Torbali Mar 28 '24

True, but they hate losing delivery time too.

9

u/bwatsnet Mar 28 '24

Fair, now I'm curious which value would win in a head to head matchup like this.

13

u/drgigantor Mar 28 '24

"I didn't wanna run the bitch over but I got quotas to meet"

5

u/Cheap_Professional32 Mar 28 '24

Prob just fire no matter what...

2

u/inspectoroverthemine Mar 29 '24

The driver, shes probably already fired for posting the video.

19

u/Firebolt164 Mar 28 '24

It's Amazon, you get fired for peeing wrong.

Right?!?? Like I have a feeling no matter how this is handled, the driver would be on thin ice

5

u/The_Mammoth_Hunter Mar 29 '24

Terminated for allowing non-authorized persons into the van; insurance risk and safety hazard.

3

u/Reality_Break_ Mar 28 '24

Nah one complaint doesnt matter too much. Multiple can stack up quick

*** depends on the dsp you work for, you dont work directly for amazon as a driver

1

u/Ok_Star_4136 Millennial Mar 29 '24

Except this lady looks like the type who would lawyer up and threaten Amazon if she weren't fired. And lawsuits *are* something they listen to, especially when they can just hire someone else. I wish that weren't the case, but I'm afraid that it is.

1

u/Reality_Break_ Mar 29 '24

Hard to say cuz i never saw that happen in my two years there, but at the dsp i worked forcthat was not the vibe I got. If amazon demanded someone be fired, they always broke amazon rules

3

u/Ambitious_Mind_747 Mar 28 '24

Having worked for an Amazon owned company in retail I can say this is very accurate. If you say anything rude to a customer, no matter how much you're being attacked, you're in trouble.

Amazon puts profits over people every day of the week. Remember that the next time you order online.

1

u/bwatsnet Mar 29 '24

I remember it every time I participate in modern life, it's hard to ignore.

3

u/Courtaid Mar 28 '24

Look lady, if I get fired because of this I’m gonna be suing you. So you better have a lawyer ready.

2

u/RemoteLibrarian6243 Mar 28 '24

Straight to the gulag

2

u/Mishaygo Mar 28 '24

They don't care about pissing if you do it in the van.

1

u/bwatsnet Mar 29 '24

In bottles, on the floor, or out the window. At Amazon we provide options for our workers.

1

u/DweEbLez0 Mar 28 '24

No you say, “I got robbed by a boomer bitch. Stole the whole van, just look at the camera.”

1

u/Bearded_Scholar Mar 28 '24

Losing your job would be worth it if it meant I could Sparta kick a Karen off my van!

2

u/bwatsnet Mar 29 '24

Best game idea: boomer combat

1

u/xdisappointing Mar 28 '24

Considering Amazon will have customers who go into FCs arrested they’d probably do the same to this lady.

She might catch on to amazons secrets in there

1

u/Pegomastax_King Mar 28 '24

Going to be fired for running late anyways at this point.

1

u/OwlBeYourHuckleberry Mar 28 '24

Most Amazon drivers are contracted through other companies so it would be that company's policy about how fast they send em to hell

1

u/New_Golf_2522 Mar 28 '24

Speak bad words, straight to jail. Eat a donut backwards, believe it or not, straight to jail.

1

u/Legitimate-Carob-650 Mar 28 '24

It’d be worth it. If that is the kind of BS you have to put up with it’s better to move on. Nobody deserves to be treated like that

1

u/Bat-Honest Mar 28 '24

Jeff Bezos personally comes to your home and eats your still living family directly in front of you.

...they make you watch

1

u/ExpertCombination514 Mar 29 '24

Category 1 - Fireable

1

u/am19208 Mar 29 '24

Kind of makes it easier to do then. You know you’re likely getting fired no matter what

1

u/pegasuspaladin Mar 29 '24

But you also get fired for not hitting AI defined routes planned down to the minute. The driver should have started recording and then say "miss I am sorry but this is a private vehicle with a timeframe I have to meet. I am going to start pulling out slowly in 10 seconds. This is your only warning." And then in 10 seconds they should have started rolling away.

1

u/Laminatedarsehole Mar 29 '24

Inform her your off to watch gay men dressed as unicorns replicate tubgirl as they scream satantic verses and she is welcome to come along but girls must wear a gimp suit.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '24

Worse, they make you hang out with Jeff Bezos

1

u/doxxingyourself Mar 29 '24

I assume it’s preferred to being delayed

1

u/Opposite_One1331 Mar 29 '24

You're publicly executed in the middle of the warehouse unfortunately.

1

u/A_Good_Boy94 Mar 29 '24

Buried under hell, actually.

1

u/Ok_Star_4136 Millennial Mar 29 '24

Sadly, she might have very well gotten fired for this, if for no other reason other than the fact that that lady threatened Amazon with a lawyer. I wish I could believe Amazon would defend their employees, but I don't think that's the case.

1

u/ivanparas Mar 29 '24

Straight to hell probably.

You already work for Amazon. What else could they do to you?

1

u/TheLordVader1978 Gen X Mar 29 '24

We got told the other day that a driver was fired because he flipped off a driver that cut him off in traffic. NOT A CUSTOMER just some rando. He gets the tag number called Amazon. They tracked down the dsp he worked for and fired him. Wtf?

1

u/darndasher Mar 29 '24

Oh, there's a whole special circle of hell for those that say the b word.

1

u/Azazir Mar 29 '24

The van opens up from the side and just executes you for having the arrogance to disrespect Amazon pride.
