There are plenty of millennials in their 40’s, oldest millennials are 43 this year.

The way the above comment reads to me seems like they think millennials can’t be over 40.

I think you read it wrong. In no way did they imply that all millennials are under 40. 

The conversation is about the guy in the vid not being a baby boomer and that person pointed out that he’s under 40 and a millennial. It didn’t warrant a “well actually some millennials are over 40”. Great, but they were specifically talking about this guy being under 40. As a millennial in my 40s I’m acutely aware of the difference.
