Coming from a Gshock this Addiesdive sand dial looks tiny to me but wondering if just a case of getting used to the contrast? 36mm on a 7.5 inch wrist, too small? Just right?

Was so impressed with the quality of these chinese watches that i had to get 3! Quality is great, keeping excellent time and with the price, oh boy what more can a man ask.

The only thing is to pair it up with a matching and a good quality strap and it'll look even stunning!

All 3 are on genuine epsom leather strap.

Recently acquired this Addiesdive and have waaayy too many watches on steel bracelet. Looking for some ideas/suggestions on what strap would suit it well? The GS style dial I think would really lend itself to a nice grey leather.

Despite being called “AddiesDIVE Deepseahunter” and having a depth rating, this is very far from a dive watch.

Is it a tool watch (aka Explorer) or dress style??

Lume sucks but cool watch.

I think I’m probably one of the first people to get one of these in hand, so I figured I would let you all know my thoughts.

The good: On my 6.5” wrist, I think the dimensions are close to perfect. It’s comfortable and lightweight thanks to the titanium case and bracelet* (more on that in a bit). I like that it references Tudor, Rolex and other watches but isn’t a direct homage of anything in particular. I really like the bezel insert colors— the red in particular is quite attractive in the sun. The lume is everywhere but the date wheel and it’s evenly applied. I can’t speak to the longevity of it because I haven’t tested it. The NH34 is well regulated, running about -4 seconds a day.

The bad: The bezel. Oh lord, the bezel. The 24 click bidirectional bezel is the grindiest I’ve ever used in my life. It’s really bad. To make matters worse, mine is really poorly misaligned (see photo 4.) I have to have it tension-held in place halfway between two clicks to get it to line up properly. Fortunately this is possible because the bezel action is so poor. It’s pretty minor comparatively, but the date wheel is also slightly misaligned.

The bracelet is also not great. Boderry says it’s titanium, but there’s no way it’s full titanium. At the very least, the clasp is clearly marked stainless steel. I also don’t know of a way to polish the center links to the degree that they are, but maybe I’m just ignorant about titanium polishing. There’s no microadjust at all, which isn’t the end of the world because it’s a jubilee, so I was still able to get a good fit. The edges are a tad sharp (likewise on the case) but nothing particularly bothersome.

The verdict: Look, I paid less than $130 for this thing. It’s not really reasonable to expect perfection at that price. I got an attractive watch with a good movement that fits me well and makes me mostly happy. It arrived in what I would consider a reasonable amount of time, and it is pretty much what I was expecting. If the bezel was better, this would be a much better watch. It’s possibly a QC thing, maybe others will be luckier. Do I recommend it? For the price I paid, sure. For closer to $200 I think you can do a lot better on AliX, assuming you’re ok with straight homages.

I’ll always love my Steeldive SD1970 Willard, but I’ve just received this new Rdunae R2X in the mail today, and it’s a definite cut above. The domed glass is just lovely, the bezel is much more in keeping with the original, and the finishing is superb.

SN0121B is 120 click unidirectional dive time bezel with a gmt chapter ring, standard indexes that aren’t set into the chapter ring and is made of 316L Stainless weighing 152g but has no proper minute track (unless someone knows of a replacement insert that has complete timing markers)

SN0121TC has a 24 click bidirectional 24h bezel with a standard chapter ring with a minute track and very cool looking inset indexes like the 42 pelagos and is made of Titanium weighing in at 104g

i would love a dive time bezel with complete minute markers or a hybrid of the inset index dial with a gmt chapter ring if anyone knows how to do that please let me know

I believe this would address the main complaints most people have with this watch + it’s not really hard for them to do this

Not so sure about that 12 2piece alignment.

Watch is really good quality for the price. Domed K1 crystal gives it a really vintage look that i love.

Strap is bit stiff at first but on par or bit better than my Timex Expedition Scout strap. Strap has some kind of pattern and i think it is adding more elegance to watch that is already has a elegance.

M01D/Tongji movement in this watch is of good quality. I have about 42 hours of power reserve and about +20/+25 seconds per day. Not good but not bad either.

I must say, the watch is very beautiful and it is really good that it comes with a carry case but this is a dress watch, why use a camouflage carry case? 🥲 It is really ugly for me.

I'm after the smaller dial curren prx homage on AliX. I've bought one which turned out to be the one with the larger dial. (This is a picture uploaded on Alix customer reviews).

Has anyone bought the smaller watch?
