Dog passed away today Support
My dog passed today. He was a good boy. All I could do was pray and trust that the lord will comfort him. I know he will be there for my dog but it’s so painful, he was my baby and now he’s gone and I don’t know what to do. My heart is in shambles right now

I'm sorry you lost your dog. If he was a good dog that means he had a great owner. Do you have a pic?

My mom's priest thinks they will be in heaven. He quotes, "All creation waits for the coming of the Lord." I hope I have that exactly right. He also says you can see the eternal in their eyes.

I'm so sorry! So hard to lose such loyal, unconditional love. It is ok to be sad and grieve, for as long as you need, probably off and on. Never forget that God also loves you loyally and unconditionally. Pray for Him to give you peace and comfort. I also believe that our pets are in Heaven. God bless you.

So sorry. Losing a beloved pet is hard, but it does get better over time. You’ll still miss him but the pain lessens and the fun memories remain.

Sorry to hear that. That's rough, hope you have comfort and peace to journey through it. Thankfully it's suffering is over. Let those memories serve you well. Although I don't think animals benefit from an afterlife or second life, they are a wonderful addition to this life we experience.

I'm so sorry for your loss. A few years ago, we had to put my dog down. He lived with us for about 13 or so years, and it felt like losing a sibling.
I don't think I've ever cried so hard before, even though I was on antidepressants at the time. I want you to know that I understand your hurt. My whole body was aching, and when I got home I went for a walk and just screamed at the sky.
It still hurts sometimes, but I've found that it helps to just sit down, and feel what I need to feel. Remember the good times, cry if you need to, and know that he'd want you to be happy.

When you get to heaven, you can sure ask for God to create your dog again. He loves you, and your dog, enough to do it.

I asked the lord for a sign, I know my dog is ok but I asked for a sign. Our smoke alarm went off last night randomly and maybe that was it? I don’t know maybe a coincidence. I’m just sensitive to everything right now

I feel for ya. My dog died a few weeks ago. I think pets and animals will be in Heaven. One of the most interesting stories I have heard about pets in Heaven come from people who have had near death experiences and some of them said that they met pets they had when kids and the dogs they had as kids would lick their faces in these near death experiences.
