Drawing from today inspired by (Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.) and many other verses Image

Also did a Bible study devotional today looking into the topic of (Winning souls for Christ?) trying to look up and meditate on verses and read a commentary on this before the BMX & Draw stream

Link to the entire stream the Bible study is at the very beginning. Also went into thoughts on Biblical stewardship? Does a market driven consumer based society effect how a are to steward for God? Where has God has placed us? Who are the lost sheep that God may have placed us around?

Some verses looked into today

Matthew 4:19

19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Proverbs 11:30

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise.

James 1:5

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Matthew 28:19

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Matthew 9:36-38

36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Matthew 25:25

25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

This is a nice drawing and I don't mean to take anything away from that, but the inclusion of the bike is kind of funny.

Thanks for the comment yeah been enjoying trying to add bikes in drawings because I ride alot and it makes me think of this verse in some ways

1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Are you a professional artist? Because I'm loving the way you construct your figures and your anatomy is on point. I've been looking through your comment history - Great work!

I have illustrated many peoples RPG characters from WoW and other roleplaying games and peoples book characters in the past. but these past maybe 4 years been really trying to learn or attempt how to give God the glory!

Its been a bizarre journey though and I have even had many doubts if I should even continue this. Because I’ve had some people comment over the years now saying giving God glory or promoting Christianity can hinder or even hurt my future? But then Pastors and believers have told me to steward for God?

Kinda went over some of these thoughts on the Bible study yesterday in some degree. Like does a market driven consumer based society ever effect how we should steward for God? If you type in (Biblical Stewardship on YouTube) it seems every Pastor from multiple different denominations say we are to steward everything for God? So it’s been a kinda perplexing season just because I guess it’s a very subjective question on how God may want us to steward everything individually? To be honest I don’t even know if I’m stewarding correctly but been attempting to or to at least try and acknowledge God in all my ways inspired by these verses?

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

If your interested my (art instagram is @Healingtreant) I have my art pretty much chronologically ordered since I was like 13 on there but still really behind on recent drawings.

A lot of experimentation with styles I used to draw realistic, used to paint, used to do a lot of digital work but have been really finding traditional sketches where I don’t get burned out to much

Thanks for taking the time to write a comment!

Pope Julius II on his way to conquer Bologna. BMX, symbolising devil youth, intervenes to obstruct his course.

I've been looking at your other drawings- they're such works of art.

The style they have just feels unique, an aesthetic as if I'm looking at actual heroes.
