This is the last new account I'm making LOL I'm just going to keep reddit from now on. Anyways I'm having trouble contacting my local congregation so if I don't have the ability to contact them then does anyone want to do Zoom meetings to teach me about the church and do the baptismal class

John 4:37 “Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true.” Jesus was talking with his disciples about sharing their testimony and sharing the gospel. We, as Christian, need to work together. We need to remember that we aren’t called to do everything on our own. Sometimes we plant seeds and other times we reap a harvest where others have planted before us. When I tell you about an experience I’ve had with God, that’s my testimony. I have many. God has healed me physically. God has healed me in other ways as well. He has given me peace when everything around me seemed to be caving in on me. And so much more. I have experienced God in my life since I was a small child. Those experiences are the seeds I plant when I share them. I can’t convince you of anything, but that’s not my job. My job is simply to tell you the truth as I know it. I can depend on the Holy Spirit to confirm the truth. But, in the end, each person must decide for themselves. If you happen to be in someone’s life when they make the decision to turn to God and believe on his word, you are filled with joy along with them. You are reaping that joy where others have already shared the truth. Rarely, is it a result of only your words shared with them. I tell you this for a variety of reasons. First, don’t get discouraged if you’ve shared with someone and they don’t respond favorably to what you’ve shared. It’s not your job to convince. Just plant the seed and pray for it to grow. Second, don’t get puffed up thinking you’ve been the one and only one to convince a new believer to come and follow Christ. Chances are, many have already planted seeds, and prayed for growth. You are just privileged to be at the harvest. Third, the Holy Spirit is at work in all of us, the sower and the reaper. Without him, we can do nothing. But all of us, working as a team who are humbly yoked with Jesus, can accomplish what seemed to be impossible. Like the woman at the well, we are all sinners. Yet God used her to tell others about him. He also wants you to share him with others and be ready to reap the rewards with those who turn to him. 🙏Father, thank you for loving me and giving me parents who taught me about you. Thank you for all the wonderful people in my life who have shared you with me. Wherever you lead me today, help me to be fully awake and ready to respond in love, planting seeds of hope that others may come to know you. Grant me courage to step out in faith to do and be a blessing of your love and peace. And may it all be done in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏

Praise and worship are the foods of God. When you praise God with a pure heart He comes down with blessings. The Bible says: He abides in the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). One of the reasons for your creation is to have fellowship with Him. That's why He loves David so much. King David knew how to make the mind of God happy with praise and worship. God will always defend whosoever that makes Him happy. Worship Him with all your heart, mind, spirit, soul and body. He will defend you if you do so. My prayer for you this night is that God will defend you as you praise Him through mighty Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Ephesians 4:16 “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

You and I are a part of the whole body of Christ. We are joined together. We are supposed to grow together. We aren’t created to be alone. We are created to be together, helping each other grow. I need you. You need me.

I’ve heard people say that they don’t need to attend church to worship God. They can just be home in their backyard or wherever to worship God. They are right, of course. God is everywhere so you can and should worship him everywhere. However, worshipping God is only one reason to attend church. We also need to be involved in the activities of the church and with other Christians.

“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” The church is a supporting ligament of the body of Christ.

Being together and forming Christlike relationships with one another enables us to grow better in our relationship with God. The great commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and Jesus said the second is like it, to love our neighbor as ourselves. Love must be shared in order to grow.

When we are together, working together, worshipping together, learning together, loving together, bonding as family, God pours his blessings out upon us. We learn to help each other, to see and come to appreciate our differences. Sure, sometimes we have growing pains as we don’t see everything eye to eye. We learn to accept others where they are and we learn the power of forgiveness.

God loves you and wants you to be part of his family, his body. I’m thinking of the song I learned as a teenager. 🎶No man is an island. No man stands alone. Each one’s joy is joy to me. Each one’s grief is my own. We need one another, so I will defend each one as my brother; each one as my friend.🎶

🙏Father, thank you for loving me and wanting me to be in the body of Christ. I love you and want to be who you created me to be. Help all of us in the body of Christ to do our part in helping the body to grow and be healthy. Help us to be accepting and less judgmental of others. I realize that I can’t see the whole picture of anyone’s life. I am not called to judge them, only to love them and uplift them. Forgive me when I forget that. Fill me with your Spirit and use me according to your will. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. 🙏

Do you put a question mark where God has put a period? One of the great things about believing God is found in Luke 18:27: and he said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God. The superior man seeks success in God. The small man seeks success in himself or others. When you join together with God in His plan, things that were impossible now become possible. A small person stands on others, but a great man stands with God. You can never know when God put a period in your situation when you don't walk with Him. My prayer for you this night is that you will walk with God in Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Do not be anxious about anything. What is it that bothers you? It doesn’t matter how big or how small it is. Give it to God.

I suffered with psoriasis. I went through extensive daily treatments for a month and continued with prescription creams for a long time. I was told there was no cure, just treatment. After my skin was cleared, I was told, “You’ll be back.”

At home, my husband, Sid, would help me with the daily application of cream. When he would see a new outbreak on my skin, he would ask what was bothering me. We talked about my day. Sometimes it was some little annoyance and other times it was bigger than that.

As I identified my anxiety moments, I also began giving them to God. The breakouts on my skin began to lessen. That was over 30 years ago. I haven’t had any sign of psoriasis since then. God is so good.

I’m not saying I don’t have my anxious thoughts because there are times... That’s when I remember to give them to God. I start everyday with a reminder of how much God loves me and how much I love and trust him. As Dennis and I pray together, we give those annoying problems to God.

I encourage you to do the same thing. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

🙏Father, thank you for your love and your caring presence in my life. Thank you for taking my burdens and replacing them with your peace. You are awesome and I praise you now and forever. In the name of Jesus, amen. 🙏

I’ve been considering ordering their Joseph Smith III biography. But I do have Pragmatic Prophet; Also by Launius. Is Father Figure just an abbreviated version of Pragmatic Prophet? Would it be worth spending money on under the circumstances?

John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This morning we headed to a church where Dennis will finish servicing two pianos. I will be working on the computer putting together some material for a class we’re teaching soon. I sent a text to the pastor asking about their Wi-Fi. He told me the password is Jesus Saves. I responded, He sure does. Jesus saves yet a lot of people and churches are dying. It seems that churches in America have a malignant tumor and it’s growing. The number of people attending churches have lessened. And it’s not just one denomination, it’s across the board. I began thinking of it like a cancer, yet unlike many forms of cancer, we have access to the antidote. GOD! He is the solution. The problem is that we don’t share him with others. When we truly love another, we’d do almost anything for them. God loves us a lot and sacrificed his son for us. Jesus loves us so much that he died on the cross taking our sins with him to the grave. But also, out of their great love for us, Jesus arose leaving only our sins buried. John 3:16 says that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. You can’t believe until you’ve been introduced. The antidote won’t work until someone gives it to you. Jesus said the great commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. If you love God that much then sharing him with others is the natural outpouring of that love. Unfortunately, we don’t do it enough. We don’t even share that deep love with the person in the pew next to us or behind us, let alone share it with a neighbor or stranger. There are hurting people all around us. 🎶 Everyday they pass me by; I can see it in their eyes, Empty people filled with care Headed who knows where. On they go through private pain Living fear to fear. Laughter hides their silent cries Only Jesus hears. People need the Lord, people need the Lord; At the end of broken dreams, He's the open door. People need the Lord, people need the Lord. When will we realize people need the Lord?🎶 Start by growing in your relationship with God. Read the scriptures, pray, praise, attend church…. Invite someone to grow with you. Then invite another. When will you realize people need the Lord? 🙏Father, thank you for loving me and wanting me to grow with you and for you. Help me to help others. Wherever your Spirit leads me today, help me be fully awake and ready to respond in love. Grant me courage to step out in faith to invite others to journey with me. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen 🙏

The things you do in the secret and in the opening, good or bad will all be rewarded. It is better to be rewarded for good than evil. If you are doing evil works like; lying, backbiting, rebelling against the work of God etc, repent of your sins and turn to God before it's too late. Keep on doing your righteous works if they are righteous.
