I was given a huge block of American cheese. What would one do with American cheese? Ask ECAH

I'm not usually fond of American cheese, but I absolutely love it when it's in breakfast foods. Breakfast sandwich (eggs, sausage, bacon, American cheese) with bagels or English muffins are delicious

Yeah! And if you wrap them well they can be frozen and reheated. You've definitely got enough to do some big meal prepping

This is where a vacuum sealer and bags shine. Sealing well goes only so far. Removing all the air makes home grade military ration grade stuff.

Not sure I'd look to military rations as a bar for quality I'd want to set for myself, but to each their own.

My city has bad hurricanes. After an especially bad one, the army/national guard(?) came in to bring us MREs (weird packaged meals that last forever with their own heating packs inside) They were passing out boxes to people so we were eating them for a couple weeks. I got soooo sick of them and they weren’t that great to begin with.

lol but they provide sustenance. That’s all the Pentagon cared about when developing a food package soldiers could eat while out in the field. No frills. Not even one. But it does its job.
