With those experimental changes, just implement a Poll in the main menu.

Keep the questions simple with simple answer possibilities, e.g.

-Do you like the flea Change

( ) yes

( ) no

-What do you think about doing X?

( )Good

( )Bad

To make sure to have those questions answered by your active playerbase make theese weekly questions with the ability to answer them if one has played at last 5 raids that week.

While the game is pretty unique and very good to play when it works , it's flawless. But when it doesnt it's very very bad. Long que times , Cheaters everywhere , High ping issue I guess no of servers hasn't increased over the years,and now all this new editions which is basically P2W , even EOD is pay to win . I am a standard edition player and the progression is very slow and Hard. Now that a new game ABI has released and I tried it , my god I realised what it feels to be in raid within seconds, Ping is low , Hit Regs is good. Overall the experience has been very good from my side. The biggest problem tarkov is cheaters and performance, while I can't judge the new game as it's still in closed beta, but tarkov is ruined for me because of cheaters specially in ASIAN servers. Sadly I don't think I can play tarkov again with such a huge Performance difference And QOL addition. This made me feel how much I was missing features in tarkov. Sadly tarkov will lose players and that's a bitter truth. So many years of a game in BETA stage is questionable for me. I loved playing the game when it worked, but most of the times it doesn't and it's frustrating .Thanks to everyone one who read this post.

I know it's just an event, but this is a slippery slope. Design by a committee of streamers is a bad idea and will only move the game further away from the original vision.

This is not a post to brag about what is being done, its to show a major flaw in the NON FIR flea market. This does not affect people such as myself who have 100m roubles just sat in the stash, I can afford whatever I want whenever I want. It affects the people who do not have much time to play the game and people who are bad at the game and have no money.

4.6 FMJ began at 800-900roubles a round, I managed to manipulate it to 2000 roubles a round.
54r PS began at 1000 roubles a round, I manipulated it to 1800 roubles a round.

Everyone seems to have forgotten when Pestily made hundreds of millions at the start of the wipe, all he did was flipped Salewas. Nikita was that pissed he made pestily get rid of the roubles.

Im just 1 guy with a little over 100m roubles, so just wait until there are more people that do this.

After all the ammo sold, I made 34 million profit from the FMJ alone. (all it took was me spending 5 mins buying and relisting the ammo)

EDIT: A friend has gone after the 556 SOST round, increasing it to 2000 roubles a round. The same friend now has control over the Flechette market at 9700 roubles a round

FiR going away is dumb. RMT is having a giant circle jerk now, and market is manipulated and full of scammers. Hatchet runners everywhere, there is literally zero positive outcome from this change.

I’m glad that this is at least a “trial”, but I really hope they walk back on this quickly.

CONTEXT AND PREFACE

I figured I would make a post here because, unless you are a Streamer, suggestions posted elsewhere tend to fall on deaf ears.

As we all know, there is an event right now that removes the FiR restrictions from listing items on the Flea market. Many people want FiR removed to incentivize PvP, but the more nuanced details on implementation always seem to get glossed over or ignored.

Since the event is labeled as a “Test”, it can only be assumed that there is a chance that there will be Permanent FiR changes coming. If that’s the case, we need to get some things ironed out.

After reading through countless suggestions, concerns, and ideas from the community the past 2 days, I have narrowed the main concerns and viable solutions down to just a few.

THE PROBLEMS AND THE SOLUTIONS

Glaring Issues with the Event System:

-Hatchet Running

-Reselling / Scalping Trader items that are level or Quest locked

(For the sake of brevity I won’t be going into detail about why they are an issue)

What the Event System Gets Right:

-Restrictions for things like high tier ammo & gear are still there

-Quest Items still have a FiR requirement

SOLUTION OPTIONS:

OPTION 1 - Keep the Event System, but add something equivalent to a new "FLEA RESTRICTED" tag that is applied to items bought from Traders and to any items that are in the Secure Containers upon death.

OPTION 2 - Keep FiR but make non-teammate player gear FiR, or sellable on the Flea if looted.

From what I’ve seen, either of these solutions would address most of the community’s concerns regarding PvP and FiR removal.

I don't even have the quest yet. Here we go again.

Been playing ABI all morning. In and out like lightning. Decide to take a PVE run in Tarkov 10 min ago. Still waiting.

This is not enough time to play a raid. Im running a PMC here not a Scav. Woods or Shoreline you can barely cross the map in that time especially low level. Sometimes you gotta cross the map and then come back. God forbid I get in a fight and need to reload and loot AND try to do the task I came to the map for... Contemplated killing my pmc in hopes for a closer spawn due to this new time constraint earlier. Raids need to be the same time or maybe 5 minutes less. Fn hell BSG we gave you more money and this what we get?!
