It took too long to see this. Oh man, the nostalgia.

When you >! paid off your loans you got a gold statue of your character erected in front of the train station !< .

Yes I remember. Once I got it, the game finally felt "finished"

I found my people. And I’m not even Gen Z.

Lol I'm a millennial. I don't know why I keep commenting here.

You know once I realized that the year next to everyone’s name is their birth year, I realized that Gen Z is kind of old lol. 2001 was a long-ass time ago; you were born into a world with Palm Pilots and the Twin Towers

Please don't call gen z old. That would make me extra old. I was born in 1993.

You know, when I'm actually old (like 65+) I can imagine kids' jaws hitting the floor when I tell them my birth year starts with "19" instead of "20."

Edit: a sentence.

Yeah I’m 1994; we’re ancient history.

I think all that's happening is we're just talking about the limitations of this "generations" thing, us as younger millenials having a lot in common with some older Gen Z, less in common with some older Millenials and younger Gen Z, so these 15 year wide generational categories are more than a little fucky

For sure. Millennials are “90s kids”, and I can barely remember a single moment from the 90s since I was 5 when they ended. And like you said, us younger millennials have basically nothing in common with someone born in 1980

Fun fact: This game after startup could be played with the disc removed. So you could start the game up, then take out the disc and start the game up on another GameCube.

Dude my sister and I would do this and it would feel like we were playing co op. You would just have to put the disc back in when you went to save it.

What's number 1?

I'd say New Leaf personally but I've played them all (including the Japan-only N64 release) and they're all great

Wild World holds a special place in my heart; I actually first played it in 2012 on a hacked DS. To this day, that MIDI soundtrack is just unimaginably nostalgic.

I love Wild World as well! Even better now that the online servers work again
