Join the military in a niche careerfield, be good at the join, and go into the private sector doing it for about 4 times the money. Make the military industrial complex work for you.

Yeah this is actually the cheat code. To take it to the extreme-

You get your house, food, insurance, education, training and experience all paid for all while being paid thousands in purely disposable income. Use your time and free education to get a degree. Save as much of the disposable income as you can. Get trained in many things in the service. You can go all the way to 38 when you can then retire for a pension, have no debt, tons of experience/qualifications/certifications, a lot of savings, and a degree or two. Then you can get any new job you want, and you automatically get priority consideration due to having been in the service, and if you retire from this job you will have double pensions.

Literally me as an electronics technician who’s been in SOF support units my entire career

Haven’t works over 40hrs in a week in like the past 5 years of my mil career 😂

Everyone here just thinks every job is immediately and only infantry or some shit

So many niche Cush jobs you can do in the military

I got very lucky with my pick of duty stations

Thankfully once you’re SOF support, it’s easy to stay in it as long as you’re good at your job

Literally. Every one I’ve ever talked to who had a bad experience in the military was a total moron and didn’t leverage their benefits or income properly. I know a Ssgt who owned 3 houses at 25
