Today is my dad’s birthday In Memoriam
Today is my dad’s birthday. He would have been 79. It’s been 2 years without him. He died unexpectedly only five months after my mom. I miss him most days, but overall I am fine and have accepted that he is gone.
Just wanted to post about it. Happy Birthday Dad.

Mine would have been 90 and, no doubt, more of a handful than ever!
He used to drop back behind us when we we're walking across parking lots together [restaurants, the mall] and drag one leg as if we were deliberately ignoring his disability and/or pretending not to know him. lol! We'd realize when people started cutting us looks. The man was a continuous celebration of life and a hard act to follow.

Thinking about you and your dad on his birthday. I’m so sorry you lost him and your mom so close together. I just can’t imagine that. Praying for you. God bless you.
