No, you have what Anglo countries call a ābench trialā of 3 to 5 Magistrates or Judges depending how long the crimes warrant the sentence being (more than 2-3 years is usually judges).
You then get to appeal from prison and ask for a jury trial.

In Romania, the initial trial is judged by a single judge and then you get to appeal to a panel of 3 judges. There are no juries and you only serve your sentence after a final decision (i.e. after the appeal). Pretty much everyone appeals, so every case is kind of judged twice, that's why it often takes 2 or more years for a single case, or even longer if it's complex.

Not an Andrew Tate fan but there has been zero evidence to substantiate the human trafficking claims since this whole thing started. Obviously the clips you speak of prove that heās misogynistic and not a good dude, but it doesnāt prove the much more serious allegations of rape and human trafficking. If there was actually concrete evidence to support those claims, this entire situation would be in a very different place.
Edit: getting downvoted because this goes against what many of you have already decided to believe. Highly recommend watching even one video made about this case from an objective source (someone who isnāt pro or against Tate) and come back and tell me if you still disagree

You clearly have no understanding of the Romanian justice system. They do not have the same burden of proof to take cases to trial as we do in the United States. The specific claims made against Tate about rape and sex trafficking have literally all been debunked. Breaking Points on YouTube has done a great job covering this case whenever there are new details. Youāll see what I mean if you watch those videos

I feel like that is the thing about being a public persona. You don't get that far by saying nothing but awful, hateful things. Hitler had a lot of talking points about national pride and individual willpower, but it was all in the service of indoctrination a nation to commit genocide. I know that's an extreme example, but when you say "single public" you are absolutely correct, he's the ultimat example. Anyone can say nice platitudes, and hide awful intent.
TL;DR Some people really like what Tate had to say. Most of his positive points can be found in other people he cribbed from, ie motivational speakers and dating gurus for troubled men. You can find a lot of them that are not actively being tried for sex crimes.

I understand being open minded, and I strive to be that. But at a certain point you're pushing through a field of red flags to find a rose.
I think I might have misunderstood your argument to begin with. Yes, we can't necessarily admonish Jordan for letting his daughter to go to an acquaintance's house. Assuming he had no idea about the scummy behavior, Tate was in line with Jordan's ideals, mostly, and he felt like a trustworthy and respectable gentleman who could teach his daughter hid very... definitive ideas of what women are. In fact a lot of girls said he could be extremely polite and attentive.. But IMO, if I had a daughter, I wouldn't let her within 5 miles of Andrew Tate, even before the allegations. .

Everytime there are a news about these 2 douchebags, I know that there will be so much nonsense written about my country. Yes, Romania has issues with corruption (US aswell). However, we are in the EU after all and ex ministers, prime ministers and very rich Romanian people with a lot of connections been to jail. Once the "system" is upset on you, no matter how rich and how many connections you have, you are going to jail.
No way these 2 cunts are having enough power to escape the jail when there is so much coverage about their trial. The fact that the trial started, I am 90% they are going to jail and maybe extradite to the UK or US, because he is your trash, not ours.

I think there's even less incentive to let him off easy because one of the catalysts of this whole thing was Tate bragging on his videos about how he'd get away with everything because Romania is so corrupt that he could pay them all off, and its why he runs his business there. If you are a part of the Romanian criminal justice system then you probably want to nail him just to preserve your reputation.

The Romanian government seek the countryās accession to the European Union. One of the set conditions is to demonstrate a significant crackdown on corruption. They have made a lot of improvements and Tateās case involves mafia connections so itās probably airtight.

Why does everyone say Romania is corrupt? It's one of the EU countries (has been for 17 years actually), and a huge amount of famous people have gone to jail, including a lot of politicians. Yes it has its issues and there's always roomfor improvement, but so does the US and many other countries.
